Haven't been excited at all, but I'll be damned if it has finally hit me. IT'S FREAKIN WRASSLEMANIA DAY! Even if much of it is predictable, at least the crowd will be awesome (70,000 fans completely shitting on Cena will be worth it) and I'll be able to witness a Ziggles cash-in in person. =D

Is anyone else getting those new type of adds where certain words are highlighted and when you roll over them you get pop ups and they are links?
Trying to see if it is a new GAF thing or if it is on this pc

8 and a half hours to #FACEamania.

My plan is I will do some busy work for a few hours, take a nap for another few hours and stay up for it.

YAY staying up until 4am.



My heart wants a heel turn but my brain knows better.

Cena will win and get a respect hug with Rock.

Punk will be written off for a few months after Taker. Ether he is carried out or he "quits" tomorrow on RAW.

Ziggler might cash in because no one gives a FUCK about Swagger or Del Rio. Then again they might give the belt to Swag just to see what happens.

Opening match will ether be the WHC match or Hell No versus Team Zigg. They like to open with something decent. MITB was a match designed to open this show and get people pumped and other then last years hilarious fuck up that left the crowd pissed for the first 2 hours they are normally ok with opening with something not shit.

I haven't properly watched wrestling for a few years now but for some reason I feel really hyped for this and may stay up until 4am to finish watching it, despite the fact I have work (and a training course) at 8am.

Going to do it. Let's ave' it.

MSG last night was all the hardcore fans. 80,000 strong at Mania will probably be 5 to 10 thousand smarks who hate Cena (and would've filled MSG) and the other 70,000 are just normal people.

Don't expect an amazing crowd.

I'm going btw.
 
Punk wins and refuses to wrestle anyone for a few weeks since he did the "impossible"

He still needs to be around and he can just do promos. I don't think he can be written off even for a month. There's not even a decent heel to replace him, and even if every hypothetical heel turn happens there still won't be a decent heel

PPVs are almost always filled with hardcore fans. I would say more likely 5-10k Cena fans.

It is already known that Cena is the bigger draw at House shows and it is that revenue that will not make WWE turn him heel.

The people who pay to go to Wrestlemania normally know whats up. Add the new york smarks and it should be a great crowd tonight.

Agree, people especially in New York and Philly hate his guts, i do not even expect to hear a "Lets go Cena!" to accommodate the "Cena sucks" chant
 
For anyone else going tonight, when are y'all headed down? We could get an impromptu quick meet-up going if we're early enough.

I'm thinking that I'll probably take that coach express bus from the Port Authority (hopefully there's no huge hassles with it) and aim to try to get down there for around 5:00-5:30.

I know you said you’re not playing a character earlier, and how you’re playing yourself, but a lot of fans continue to clamor for a John Cena heel turn. I know in the past you’ve said you’re against it, but what if it was the best written script possible, something that would completely change the landscape of WWE? Would you go full-out heel and make the kids cry for maybe a year, or is that just not in the plans?

I just don’t see me getting there in order to please a very small group of 30-year-olds. To be very honest with you, every single week I meet kids with life-threatening illnesses and they’ll tell me how much I mean to them, and their parents will tell me how inspirational I’ve been to their kids. We raised a million dollars last year for breast cancer. I’m helping spearhead the Hurricane Sandy relief fund at this year’s WrestleMania. I’ve been able to give back to the military in Tribute to the Troops. And I’m currently working on a program to help America shave 5 million pounds. All of this stuff I would have to stop if I was a “bad guy.” To be a bad guy, you actually have to be a bad guy. I just don’t have it in me, personally. So although you might get a great story out of it for nine months, doing it would just take away so much, and I don’t have that club in the bag.
