Considering that wrestlers just own up to wresting being worked whenever questioned about it, I don't understand the issue. If you're willing to openly address the fact that people WANT you to turn heel and be something different for the first time in YEARS, you should understand that having a character change doesn't stop you from doing ANY of those things.

I think Cena just doesn't want to be in a position where he isn't the face of the company anymore and thinks turning heel would do that. If anything, it would make him more popular but whatever. Keep getting booed out of big events and being the lamest fucker ever who can't give a promo anymore to save his life.

CM Punk poured the remains of Paul Bearer onto his son and then LICKED some of it off his hand, which should make him the most hated wrestler ever right now but he'll still make wishes and be nice to children outside of work. Cena can do the same.

Cena wont go heel, because of the reasons I said but everyone ignoring the main reason, he doesn't have it in him. He's so much of a good guy that its ruined him. Remember when he tried to get "real" on a promo and all it was was him saying del rio rents cars as he's not actually rich.

Bret Hart was right, cena is the ultimate good guy and to be a bad guy it would come off as goofy. It would also break his never give up attitude. He wants to win everyone over as a face. Him going heel might happen one day, but I personally don't ever see it happening.
