Just heard the preview of this track yesterday and I am really feelin it. I love the Nu Disco vibe. If you guys are interested in hearing more new dope Nu Disco tracks check out this facebook page I follow NuDiscoYourDisco

Sounds so beautiful and the video looks amazing. Is all the shine in the video digital or real? The sunset is pretty fucking cool as well.

Wait, is it actually confirmed we're getting the single tomorrow?

I saw the Twitter post from the French radio station but has anything else been said?

edit: Tanuki, that is fantastic! Non-stop loop while I finish my Uni work.

So is the single going to get released tomorrow or what? I read that somewhere (this thread or the main RAM thread). I have been listening to all the snippets on repeat forever, but I wanna listen to the whole thing put together SOON! :(

Daft Punk's genre of music is not at all one that I'm familiar with, but I absolutely love Discovery. After hearing it I promptly checked out Homework and Human After All, finding both of them to be fairly lacking in comparison. Now, I am fully aware that due to my incredibly limited experience with electronic music I may not have been able to enjoy them after my one or two listens I gave them. Those are their only three proper albums, right? I know they did some stuff for Tron, but I've never checked any of that out. But are Homework and Human After All considered to be as seminal to the scene as Discovery, or is the general consensus that they are weaker outings? Because of how much I love Discovery, I want the other two albums to click for me, but I'm not sure if they will.

That preview is fantastic though, so I am considerably excited for this upcoming album

HAA was seen as weaker although Alive 2007 redeemed it for many. Homework was a breakthrough album with many classic songs.

Homework is definitely on par. Alive 2007 is better than them all though.

This Get Lucky track is so catchy. Can't wait to listen to the Julian Casablancas collab since I'm a great fan of him.

Nile Rodgers hair look like a wig. Am I the the only one with that impression? He is really having fun in the trailer.

Its funny how others had the opposite experience to me in terms of album enjoyment. I remember when discovery came out I absolutely hated it. I had been listening to Homework since shortly after launch and so I really didn't associate Daft Punk with a syrupy disco/pop vibe. I actually returned the album to the store when I first got it and shunned it for a few years after it came out until it eventually crept back in.

Yeah there's only a handful of tracks I really like outside of Discovery. This Get Lucky tracks sounds like a Discovery track, so I'm guessing they are going back to that style. HAA was a bit closer to Homework in style. Alive was had balance.

Thanks for the SNL link the HD quality is amazing. Hopefully they do videos for each track along with the mini-documentaries on blu-ray at some point down the road.

If that teaser is real, I have no doubt whatsoever that this album is going to kick ass.

I was a bit skeptical about all those collaborations when I first heard about it, but Pharrell sounds great and compliments the song
