Daft Punk new Single teaser +collaborations announced (Panda Bear, Nile Rodgers, etc)

Love it!!!! One play and I'm already in. Sounds like something 80s/90s Michael Jackson would make if Daft Punk ever hypothetically collaborated with him back then.

Edit: And yes, love the homage to Jackson with that font. <3
 
Is it just me or am I the oly one who was hoping in the new SNL ad for that guitar hook that was at the beginning of the video they showed at Coachella? Still, CAN. NOT. WAIT.

And then on to the F# and E. It seems like Rogers is playing a more Rhythm part and then the more funky part is a 2nd guitar. sounds on point if you get the rhythm down, nile typically plays three note chords anyway

Probably because everything (or almost everything) isn't done via CG. It does look intentionally retro.

Seems like Daft Punk is using old techniques to create the video clip. Even the revolving logos movement is somewhat jerky at times, and that sexy starburst effect on 'Random Access Memories' logo. Love their commitment on it.

mmmmmmmhhh idk. I dont think old videos had that sort of "bad cropping" effect since they were done differently

it looks good on them because they're shiny, it only looks weird at the start with pharrell and nile against black. would look good with a background as well

I guess there's a chance that this is still gonna be part of the music video and i'd imagine there's more to it if that's the case

I think the other thread title is pretty pointless at this point considering the amount of info we got, that's the only reason I made this one. People who might not be following so closely might still be interested if they caught this while browsing around

Man, Daft Punk rally got an all star cast here on this album. I hope its a classic.

Also, Pharrell is 40 and still looks like that. Jesus Christ.

I'm not a fan either. To be honest, it sounds like Pharrell's vocals from another song that were mashed into a Daft Punk song. I don't think it matches at all.
 
I'm glad that there are vocals on "Get Lucky" at least, the very first snippet was so underwhelming and it makes sense that it was meant to have vocals over it.
