Why the hell isnt anyone bringing the DJMP games to America

You can buy the international version which was released not too long ago and it's in full english. That's as good as it gets unfortunately.

probably because of the music... they'd have to release covers of madonna, sum41, earth wind and fire, and all of everyone's favorite bands. apparently j-pop and k-pop don't vibe well with americans.

Release date? Any plans of an Int'l Edition available from the get-go?

I believe its no specific release date yet, just schedule for a 2007 release so far (not sure about any Special Editions).

EDIT:

As far as I know (I'm Korean), there will be no International edition for now.

Cool, thx for the clarification.

OH SHIT. I had no idea this had even been announced! I'd been wondering what was taking so long... well, there's at least 1 game I'll be buying for my PSP this year. ;)

It will be out in Feb or Mar in Korea.

Also, there will be a limited edition (producer said that from interview with Ruliweb)

Then, one thing I know is you can listen about 150 songs through OST mode.

Thank You SOOOOO much, now its time to prepare my DJM skillz.

Really liking Memoirs and Squeeze, lots of DDR feeling in those. I've never played 80% of the songs in DJMP but those few songs I like I can play over and over forever.

I really hope they release a International version at launch so I don't have to rebuy the game nearly a year down the line. Looks awesome, but I'm weaksauce and don't have the dexterity to pull off those moves in the video :lol

I'm not as deluded as I make myself out to be
I bought a PSP for this game, I sold my PSP a few weeks ago for a Wii - but I kept DJ MAX!!

now I want this game all over again. awesome stuff. however I'll be waiting for PSP Lite

I played the first since my last post in this thread. Awesome, awesome game.

This should be amazing.

Glad to see:

- 5-key mode. Should hopefully be a good, playable mode balanced for PSP. 4-key tended to be too easy, while 6- and 8-key were just way too hard.
- Movie dimensions appear to be rebalanced around the interface, so you're not blocking 1/3 of it with the buttons ;P

The first one felt kind of like an interesting PC game shoehorned onto the PSP; this one seems a lot more designed around the platform. HUZZAH!

Looks nice. Definitely looking forward to it since Beatmania has gotten so far above my level I can't even play the new ones, DJMP is my only hope.

Seems like there's ad hoc multiplayer.
I can't believe that a Korean game would go through two iterations without Infrastructure like this. Especially since the PC version is so online-centric.

1000 pieces for each limited edition.

Actually, pre-order for night Black edition starts from tomorrow. (2/14 3AM ET)

I think it will be sold out soon. Pre-order for Silver version will start 2/28.

Also, 3/30 is the date for both normal and limited edition.

Yeah, you're right. It's 500 pieces in the puzzle :lol

Anybody know where to preorder it? Play-asia still doesn't have info on it.

Actually, I'm native Korean, so I can get it through Korean websites if it's available.

But someday, I'm sure it will be in stock at Playasia with more expensive price.
