There are a few "gather drops" quests in the game, not too many though. So I was playing the demo and I noticed this preset line in chat window

Will there be exploration quests too? as Battle acts too are written.
Redsun gamers please confirm!

I'm noticing against the Harpy that her weak points are her face and the tips of her wings, how are you supposed to attack them? Infact any flying creature, I'm guessing you unlock arrows or some sort of throwing ability
I don't remember how many but the areas get quite big near the end of the game. How big are the areas? and How many? *ballpark

Yes, there are a few 2 boss quests and they're the most difficult part of the game aside from the "don't get hit" forgotten quests.Thank you! Thats a relief! Any chances of two or more bosses in one arena?

We watched the sacrifice kill Cerburus but because we were all dead we failed the quest, so annoying :/

Ugh got through the demo quite well but the Cerberus is giving me headaches. Me and the CPUs just get killed in a few minutes. I know it is weak against ground but I only have the fist spell and casting it just takes too long for me. I'm lvl 14 in life and 1 in magic. Any hints in how to combat it?
Also, scoring in this game is fucked. I ended up with 390 points and got second rate sorcerer. My friend got 300 and got Legendary. How in the shit does that work?
Does damage dealt and taken factor into it?
Two openings:
1) Shield him when he runs. He'll get knocked over. The first time you'll have enough time for a few hits and then a charge-up, subsequent knock-overs will be shorter. So after 2, go straight for the charge-up.
Score requirements differ depending on the mission. Cerberus seems to require around 400 for Divine Sorcerer.
Unless those ranks were on the same mission, in which case: no idea.
I'm so stupid. Why didn't I try this. I'm guessing the stone shield is better to use?
While I don't know if the shield element changes anything (if I had to guess, the bash attack), I personally was using the ice shield.
Where do you get the stone shield, anyways?
When people sacrifice allies when Cerberus is still yellow I want to wrangle them.
NAT might cause problems with connecting to certain people. After playing some mulitplayer my opinion on this game has changed. I like it a lot more. I can play with randoms but for some reason I could not connect to two of the people on my friend's list. Spell variety seems nice and I like how I can play a support role.

That's what I usually do too. I get really annoyed by people who just run around Cerberus without attacking. If you don't have any magic left, use Infernus and ask to be sacrificed instead of asking to be saved and continuing to be useless.I have the rule of 3.
If you've died 3 times you'd be more useful buffing me![]()
Resurrecting people against Cerberus more often than not just gets another person killed.

I also cannot believe that with a 19/1 arm, Cerberus landing on you is a one-shot at full HP after skin sacrifice. I used it when he was red, and his knockdown timer was non-existent. Charging up an attack while he was in the air was all I could do. Robbed![]()

That said, I don't think Cerberus is worth trying to fight offline. The AI is too useless and he's too hyper-active to fight solo.
i'm really bad at this...
it takes me like 10-20 mins just to kill jack
11/6 now
Spam ice attacks (mostly the ice sword and the snow root) until he's completely frozen and follow up with a lightning attack. Then repeat until he's dead. The Jack in the Sortiara mission is much easier to defeat, so use him as practice.i'm really bad at this...

Yes. You might want to use some of those arrow things too though so that you'll be able break its weak parts and damage it while it's in the air. What is Harpy's weakness again, Fire?

Edit: Speaking of which... new high score! This guy is a serious pushover.
One cool thing you can do against Jack is that when he's in Ball form, the last hit of the Ice Sword hold combo knocks him over and cancels it. So all you need to do is wail on him with the ice sword a bit, then charge up just before he goes into ball form. Complete lock-down.
Just need to be careful not to stand so close that the ball form would touch you.
I usually pack ice sword, snow root, frozen arrows, 1 electric offering, 1 healing offering, and 1 freebie (ice shield maybe). Most drop items are listed on the main quest screen, so pay attention to those. Frozen arrows can only be obtained by fusing the regular arrows and the ice shield.thanks! any advice on the offerings to use?
as in.. how to, generally, go about fusing/boosting them
i'm just boosting them whenever i can
EDIT: how do I destroy specific cursed parts. any advice? the targeting system doesn't assist much in that regard

Yup.What is Harpy's weakness again, Fire?
Everything is (arguably) doable offline with AI partners, but it's nowhere as fun.Sorry if it's been asked before, but how do you guys feel about this game playing Solo?
I haven't played the demo yet since I don't have memory card space available.
This game seems awesome from everything I've seen, but I'm not big on co-op/online and would like to know if the game is still great as a single player game.
cheers!
