dude only has a knife. Goes on a stabbing spree. Stabs 14 people. Nobody dies.

If he had guns most of them would have died. Taking guns away reduces the lethality potential. If we arent going to control for mental problems (which we really don't in this country), we should at least reduce the amount of damage they can do.

Well banning pistols isn't gonna stop a criminal from obtaining one. Basically the only people this would effect is law abiding citizens.

I live in the city and I have firearms. Some I use for hunting. I can use any of them for protection.
