I hope they skip her and focus on the 2nd fan voted character first.

Everything seems to indicate him being a grappler, so copies of characters seems boring. At least, if we're going to make sense of him being a wrestler.

He reminds more more of Armor King. Sure he has plenty of grapples, but that's not his main focus.

I know your feel so much. I got my absolute number 1 and I'm happy but now Feng, Black Dahlia and Annie (who I'm coasting on as my absolute second pick) are looking at me all puppy eyed.

This isn't really how voter psychology works, especially in the short term. If the second vote were three months away, you might be right, but two votes back to back will simply solidify the voting blocs, not separate them.

Nah; the current top 8 have the most chance of winning the next vote. The only thing that will help characters right now is a dedicated fanbase rather than the casual vote since only your top vote counts. They made hate-voting impossible.

Maybe. If the votes were indeed 50 or less votes apart between 2nd and 3rd, there could be some definite swing-voting going on, especially in a voting system which isn't based on plurality (giving that voting is now weighted).

I still have a hard time understanding what Skullgirls 2 could even possibly be, other than simply the first Skullgirls with more DLC. Mike himself said that it takes an average of three months to balance a character, and even then it needs constant tweaking. If Skullgirls 2 is just more characters, then I can understand that, but I don't see how anyone here can be clamoring for Skullgirls 2 without some time to see how the PC release of this game actually does.

It's easy to release poorly balanced games, Marvel and Street Fighter X Tekken are perfect examples of this. Far more difficult to make a game that is competitive and balanced.

This isn't true at all, weighted averages tend to turn out much better rather than strict pluralities, at least in terms of voting. The United States would likely have much more interesting voting and higher voter turnout if this was the case.

Effectively this is how these kinds of votes work. They put more weight on characters you would like to see based on your level of interest in them. So to say that the 2nd character is not voting is silly. It doesn't have as much weight, but it's still significant.
