The interview with Charlie is pretty great haha

great episode...but pay your taxes!

I've turned them into a rather smart casual jacket.

Fuck. And to think that three people were all in on it, oh god. Its sickening.

I'm glad that the girls seem to be happy. Hope they recover well.

Crazy, just crazy.

Also if she had a child, did she give birth to her in the house? I mean if she went to the hospital I can imagine she would have been found.

This shit just keeps getting even more twisted, so now 3 bros one wife a daughter and grandson didn't realize there were 5 girls somewhere in the house. If one of the little girls is a child of older, how did they give birth without anyone in the neighborhood hear it?

Why so defensive? Are you balding?
No, I'm a skinhead that doesn't want to be associated with bald people.

Balding, shaved head to 1/8 inch, and don't want to be associated with skinheads. Not something I've encountered in BC, but I'm guessing it's a connection made in parts of the US

I just heard about this, is there a good summary that someone can point me to?

Michelle Knight missing at age 20 or 21 in 2002 now age 32

Amanda Berry missing at age 16 the day before her 17th birthday in 2003 now age 27

Gina DeJesus missing at age 14 in 2004 now age 23

Earlier tonight sometime at or around 6pm, Amanda Berry somehow kicked the door down and escaped, ran across the street w/ her daughter and called 911.

So far 3 Men have since been arrested, the main suspect and his 2 brothers. His son who shares the same name as his father apparently wrote a news article about one of the missing girls

Oh yeah Charles
ibyxw6UWGy7nHJ.gif

heard her trying to escape and helped her kick the front door down to get out of the house.

Did Amanda escape first and then get Charles to help kick the door in to help the other girls?

Or did he hear her yelling and helped her escape?

Apparently the front aluminum screen door was locked in some way so only a hand could reach out for the mail.

He was walking home and heard her crying for help at the front door and helped her knock the door down and get out.

Gotcha, and then they all went to his house and called the cops?

It's pretty interesting that they were all last seen at around the same area

Amanda Berry, West 110th Street and Lorain Avenue
Gina Dejesus, West 105 Street and Lorain Avenue
Michelle Knight, West 106th Street and Lorain Avenue

Gotcha, and then they all went to his house and called the cops?

Amanda then ran across the street and called 911 from the house across the street.

Charles called 911 himself too, I don't think he went across the street with her though.

The other 2 women were still somehow locked/stuck in the house, until the police came.

Probably stuck in the basement but I'm just assuming.

So Amanda called the police from a person other than Charles' house and Charles went back to his own house to call the police as well? Not looking for inconsistencies here btw, shit must have been chaotic, just trying to piece it together in my head.

Must suck for the victims' families now knowing that their girls were only 2-3 miles away the whole time.

Crey Crey all around.

Here's the story as I understand it from the local news here in Cleveland: At some point during the day, Charles heard a woman yelling from the doorway next door. He went over and found Amanda Berry attempting to escape the house. Charles helped break down the door enough to let Amanda out. Amanda and Charles then went to Charles' house, from which Amanda called 911. The police then came and got the rest of the girls out.

Freaky, I just watched the Game of Thrones episode with the guy who keeps daughter-wives.

Scary state of affairs when real life out-does fiction.

According to this video

Charles also separately called the cops (he says this near the end of the video) and they were giving him a hard time.

Not that this excuses anything but there was an incident not too long ago, last year, where an inmate said she was dead and knew where her remains were, they came and dug everything up and found nothing. So maybe they've gotten a lot of bullshit calls about this over the years, who knows.

Ten years - what a nightmare this is.
It's even worse to think about how many others are still in similar situations, unable to escape.

So every nice guy is a potential rapist?

No, that's probably the worst possible interpretation of what she said. She was saying that preconceived notions of criminals, i.e. they must be sneaky/weird/evil/"other" people, are foolish, since any "nice" person can be a criminal deep down.

I live in Cleveland and remember those missing girl pictures being everywhere. They were literally right by my time clock in thing at work, I saw it everyday. Crazy how they were all in one house the whole time and could never escape. I need details on how this man did this. I'm thinking he maybe blackmailed them and said if you escape I have someone watching your families or something to that extent, but I'm just totally guessing

they were probably locked up in the basement. 3 women, over a period of 10 years, surely one of them would have tried to escape if given the chance

Weird, but I felt she was implying every nice guy is a rapist you need to watch out for.

Nothing with what she said, just how she said it.

I just wanted to point out that not all males are rapists. Of which there are plenty nice ones of.

Damn. Good news they've finally been found.

Is that a Game of Thrones spoiler upthread? I just scooted by before I fully read it.
