Jeff's taste in games is fucking insane -- dude hates Red Dead Redemption. Patrick didn't need to justify his reasoning for liking Yoshi's Island to a crazy man.
I imagine there are a lot of trips that we aren't hearing about until after E3 and other embargos have been lifted.
Also, never underestimate the time vacuum of corporate meetings.

Also Jeff is a cool guy but its well documented he has the worst taste in everything from food to movies and his taste in games sure is unique.
Heck pick a popular and critically movie or TV show and ask jeff on tumblr if he ever seen it. He probably hasn't and I love him for it.

A long time ago (long...long time), Jeff was routinely given hate for his scores on reviews. He gave Twilight Princess a...uh...terrible?...score of 8.8 and caught hell from Nintendo fans.
Those people were being irrational though. 8.8 was more than a fine score for that game. Yoshi's Island, on the other hand, is the opposite of bad.
Also, holy fuck shit, that Zelda review was nearly 7 years ago. I'm going to go drink so much that my tears become alcoholic so I can cry into my glass and get more drunk.

I agree that Patrick is a content beast, the guy seems to be the hardest working member of the bombcast and he actively listens to suggestions of games to play. I know we don't know what they actually do day to day, but really I bet that ryan wastes a lot of time doing stupid shit that doesn't amount to content.

Same here, sucks that Dave couldn't or wasn't in more of their content. These guys weirdly make up a great chunk of awesome memories I have had over the years. The Christmas Streams of Jeff playing old, odd ass games are amazing. The Live Live Shows, the podcasts, NDX, E3 weeks of basically me sitting down and watching them stream for 4 hours a night.
I have a full time job and a social life so it is suuuuuuper hard to keep up with everything these guys do, but I try to make sure I keep at least a little current as I still love everything they do.
