I'd really like to commit to platinuming every game I buy, but..I don't know if I can stomach 100 online multiplayer wins in Monster Monpiece.
Suicide is easier than 100 hours of Montezuma Blitz.
1.01 patch for Monpiece came out last month though, and you can now finally pan and zoom the full-sized artworks for the cards, at the expense of ~250MB of Memory. They even give 7 or so promo packs of cards as a gift for upgrading.
Yesterday after a long day I was sitting on my desk and had this stupid idea out of nowhere:
Hey I'm here looking at my speakers (2.1) what If I connect this to the vita? It's just one jack away, it's easy.
So I put the Vita volume on max and increased the volume of my speakers + Subwoofer and started to play some races of Wipeout 2048 for the effects and soundtracks. I also turn off all the lights in the room...
It was amazing.

PSV is getting some support in Japan IMO.

OK, I've put in a little time with my Vita.
I am sufficiently blown away. I played a little bit of MGS2 HD, and a little bit of Playstation Allstars. PSA looked freaking amazing.
I've got $20 to spend on the PS store today. How is Modnation Racers Vita or LBP Vita? thinking about one of those or maybe Mortal Kombat.

More like Namco Bandai is supporting Vita, lol. Obviously it would be better as a PSV-only release but I suppose you have to crawl before you can walk.
Modnation Racers on Vita lacks an online mode, and has major frame rate issues. LBP Vita is good, no experience with MK.

Another one? There was just recently an episodic downloadable one announced for the PSP.
New game is a sequel to ones you are talking about.
Edit: Nvm. It is the different franchise. PSP version is more like a sequel to the Wii version (full 3D animation instead of 2D)

Get sonic all stars racing transformed instead of modnation that is if you dont already have it. LBP vita is good i liked their levels better than the ones on 1 or 2.
Namco Bandai doesn't care.

Yeah All-Stars looks really good. It's native res and 60fps. I wish all Vita games were like that.
Also Modnation is not good but LBP is. If I were choosing one or the other, LBP is the easy winner.

Wow, this is exactly the kind of lineup I like to see, Vita's doing great if it goes after unique and substantial downloadable stuff.

Are you guys a little frustrated that nearly all games that come out now are for psv AND ps3? I really feel like it detracts from the exclusivity of the vita...it makes me feel like i'm bringing a ps3 accessory/peripheral around rather than a separate gaming device.
i'm just itching for more exclusive releases that im sure are bound to come with E3

It was a really random idea but I had to share, I hope you like it that way, it sure feels different.
I kinda relate fellow GAFfer. It's like, if they said It's for the Vita I get more hyped for some reason, if it is for PS3 & Vita I'm all "I have a big backlog on the PS3 already". I really hope they can show something for the Vita at E3, I'm already expecting some titles that are coming and others I still need to start because I was Lttp to the Vita. Another thing is, if they announce a physical release it get more interesting to me too because, despite having a 16GB memory card I was thinking about using that space for PS Plus and Physical copies for non-ps Plus games.

Doesn't bother me. Not everyone has a PS3.
And if you're referring specifically to today's set of announcements, you can't expect cash-strapped Indies to gamble on Vita exclusivity.
It is good to be optimistic.
If Sony provide less support or push to third parties (especially Japanese devs) they'll rather just release games for PS3 or PSP only I guess.

Nah don't be, I appreciate the input. People remember games differently - more willing to put up with things back then and then they just become nostalgia sources for later plays. Not sure I've heard too many other opinions from people playing FF7 for the first time, I'm sure it's not perfect.

Hopefully it makes Vita download when put to sleep again. One update made it work, and another broke it. :/
I'm not frustrated at all, personally.
I have much, much, much more time to game on my Vita than I do my PS3. If these games were PS3 only, they'd just sit on my massive PSN backlog and never be played. When they're released on both, I know I'll at least play it.
I love ports, spin offs, and exclusives. As long as the game is good, I'm happy.

In fact, I would have bought the Vita on day 1 if I could have loaded any of the majority of my PSN games onto it. Take Castle Crashers, SF3SOE, Darkstalkers Resurrection, MvCO, etc. with me on the go? I couldn't throw enough money at Sony.
And further, the fact that I get a cross-buy? It's just bonus. I spent the extra $7 on Sly 4 just so I could have the PS3 copy and cross-save function. I dropped $10 on R&C:FFA because I get a Vita game when it releases and can play it in the meantime if I wish.
I *LOVE* cross-buy. And if it helps developers put quality releases onto both platforms because it mitigates the risk of development costs vs sales prospects? I don't mind one single solitary bit.

it's not that i dont want cross play or hate that games are ps3+psv....
i guess it just comes down to wanting to see SOMETHING exclusive on the dang system ( PSM aside) - everything is just for everything now... personally if it is for both systems i'll typically get it for vita anyways.

I agree. I LOVE Cross-Buy but I want to see more Vita exclusives too.

Actually, I'm waiting for "super cross buys" now (PS4/PS3/Vita) like Hohokum. Hope it's coming.
The game won't be tailored to either of those platforms, for better or worse. I didn't say I won't play a game just because it's cross-platform, just that I'd much rather play exclusives, games which I can only play on that platform.
It is indeed all playstation! And the difference between playing a Vita game and playing a playstation game, I suppose; I'd rather play a /Vita/ game. Just my prerogative, though.

I'm encountering a weird error with my Vita. I downloaded Gravity Rush for free back when it was put up on PSN. I played the shit out of it and just today bought a physical copy because I wanted to actually own the game. So, I back up my save file/bubble/whatever to PSN+/Cloud and then continue to delete the game/bubble from my memory card. I then place the cartridge into my Vita and copy my save file back from the Cloud onto the cartridge. I then proceed to launch the game and load my saved data and I receive this error code: C2-11892-1.
I tried researching a bit and there are many people saying it's a router issue. How can a router be involved with loading your saved data? That sounds fucking weird to me. Also, if this means anything, my network features are disabled as soon as I launch the game. Not sure if this always happened or what because I haven't really played my Vita nor this game in awhile. Did I do the digital-to-physical save conversion correctly? Did something bad occur during this process or is it really an internet/router problem?

Just tried this, nothing happens. I'm still getting the error. The network settings become disabled when I launch the game with the old saved data too. I have no idea what's going on here. God, I think the Vita might have the WORST profile/save infrastructure/setup/whatever. Why can't I just download my OWN save file and load my game with the physical cartridge? Terrible.
Not sure about the error you're having, but network settings becoming disabled when you launch a game is normal, I think it's to preserve battery life. Or perhaps it's that performance requirement Toto ranted about a while back.
I do wish saves and DLC were completely separated. Even if you only buy physical games, saves are still merged with DLC data..

I really enjoyed Modnation Racers but most people hated it. LBP Vita is pretty fun and this is from someone who did not like LBP on PS3 at all.
^ Guacamelee. Save the rest for the indies coming out. Oh LBPV is great too! Definitely get that, great as a platformer, I also didn't enjoy LBP1 that much - framerate, slowdown, loose control. This is much more fun if you appreciate precision. It has a lot else going for it too.
