I don't understand this. Is he telling me that if I saw an overweight person wearing his brand, I'm going to find the brand uncool?

What about ugly people then? I might find the brand uncool if ugly people wear it.

He should banned it for ugly people.

I don't hate it. You just outgrow silly labels like Abercrombie when you become more sartorially inclined.

For mall shops, I think Uniqlo, Express, and J.Crew have better styles personally and without the obnoxious branding.

It depends which one they're using. I forget which one it is, but I've got a bottle of their cologne that a GF bought me and it smells like heaven. I definitely know what you mean though.

Funny you say that, because a&f is the worst offender for branding. Their clothes are almost always plastered with huge lettering or that moose.

And the point wasn't to find shitty combinations. It was to find better clothing from companies that aren't run with shitty corporate policies.

No one even said h&m or Nordstrom was a brand. You asked for places to buy better clothes from.

the point is you can get basics that are just as good as a&f that are at or less than the same price and end up not supporting one of the shittier clothing companies around

There's a reason brands hire thin models, they make the clothes look better.

Man, this stupid store was popular back when I was in high school. I tried to shop there a couple times and I remember just regular, shitty T-shirts with the huge logo on them going for like $30+. If you are going to pay good money to be a walking advertisement, you are a fool.

Kids were wearing in 1998.

This is a true story. In 1998, I moved from San Francisco to Overland Park, Kansas and every kid in my high school was wearing A&F and I had no clue what the brand was. I didn't know where to buy it or anything. I was never a mall kiddie so I was just completely out of the loop so I went shopping to buy some and when I saw how much money it was I completely shocked. I'll never understand how someone can spend so much on the clothes A&F pushes.

Half of the stuff AF makes is like ragged looking from the start. That's part of their thing. Like that dumbass CEO with his worn out jeans in that pic. Also, what good is a shirt that lasts long if it has ABERCROMBIE covering 80%.

I'm sorry, but abercrombie is a fad that died out in the early 2000s. That's why their sales suck.

Iif you walk into A&F and buy a shirt with A&F across it you're doing it wrong.

Here's a quick snap of me and bubs from a few weeks back, A&F shirt, at least 3 years old, still in mint condition - NO LOGO. Not even the moose.

I'm not pretending to be cool or stylish, far from it, I'm an old dork who doesn't give a fuck but the claim that every A&F item has the brand splashed across is just wrong, as is your suggestion it isn't decent quality.

people from manshion gaf make fun of things they cant afford

dont take it too hard. A & F is for a certain audience, and people who dont fit into that audience loves to hate it. Think of the grapes are sour anyways fox. wear that moose proudly. i got my first kiss wearing it. and the shirts i got from them in middle school are still intact while much more expensive ralph laurens and lacostes of this world fall apart after a few years

I'm just trying to help you and him break out of your shell. Ralph Lauren and Lacoste is not something I would be buying either so that just shows how much we need to work on this.

Hollister's "SoCal" cologne is genuinely unique and smells good. The jokes about it rivaling Axe's awful sprays baffle me to no end.
