Cleveland: Missing teens Amanda Berry, Gina DeJesus, Michelle Knight found alive

And even more shit on Castro coming up, domestic abuse on 2 cases. Now does this not get the attention of the police and there were no charges for breaking his deceased wife's nose twice, 2 dislocated shoulders, blod clot on the brain, breaking her ribs and missing teeth. Also Michelle's story is just heartbreaking, from one bad situation to another. Abused at her home and mother being negligent, her family also said she was mentally challenged. It just keeps getting worse.

Well that explains why I had trouble picturing the timeline of events in my head! Good on both of them.
Ramsey made note of the guy in his Anderson cooper interview, said the guy walked away as if he didn't understand English well.

Haven't been following this case

But these girls went missing all within a 3 mile radius which contained the captors/their location?

The level of bad police work is kind of shocking

Do police ever find anything? Seems like the type of shit they would sweep under the rug after a week of work.

I don't know how reliable this website is (I haven't seen this reported elsewhere) but this is new to me:

The little girl born to Amanda Berry during her time n captivity is said to be "happy and healthy," despite her living conditions.

The girl, identified as Jocelyn, was one of the many pregnancies the women experienced over the years. Most ended in miscarriages, as the prisoners were too malnourished to carry full term. There are reports that investigators are looking for other babies, that may have been buried in the backyard.

Jocelyn's father is believed to be one of the three suspects who were arrested on Monday. Authorities do not have a record of her birth and detectives are certain that she was born in the home. The little girl reportedly called one of the suspects "dad" and was taken out of the house occasionally to visit Ariel Castro's mother, Lillian Rodriguez, who she called "grandmother."

It has also emerged that Amanda Berry home-schooled her daughter — probably without the knowledge of the suspects, Ariel Castro, 52, and his two brothers Onil Castro, 50, and Pedro Castro, 54.

Just makes me kinda wonder if Castro's mom ever questioned who her granddaughter's mom is? Or?

Just catching up with the cast from yesterday, apparently there was possibly a fourth girl held in the house at some point and she disappeared? I saw there was a family doing a lot of media about their daughter going missing and being last seen in the same area as the other girls before they went missing.

Did any of the 3 rescued girls mention a 4th girl at the house? Seems like the police could easily ask them that.

There are some indications that warning signs were being ignored, by neighbors and police alike, but it's not really reasonable for police to search every house within a 3 mile radius of the place of disappearance. One former friend of Castro was inside his house for an extended period of time and didn't see anything suspicious at all, if I heard correctly.

From the way it sounds it's two different stories. The girls say there was a fourth girl held there and at some point she just dissapeard, and the family of another girl who went missing is doing interviews about their daughter going missing around the same area.

I work at an online university doing financial aid and a student I was talking to told me he didn't have time to talk. I asked why, as I always do, and he told me that they found his cousin after 10 years. Not sure which one but when I talk to him today I will be asking about it a bit more.

read that somewhere as well...also read that "Rest In Peace" is scrawled on the wall in the basement.

...but whether that is a 4th kidnapping or one of the multiple miscarriages?

Yeah, I've seen that too. Not real sure about the RIP, but I guess the time frame of the girl that went missing and the girl that dissapeared from the castro house doesn't match up. So they aren't the same girl, but it means there could be more girls.

What makes this Ramsay youtube sensation sort of surreal is that all three girls were kidnapped before youtube even existed.

I can't even take joy in the autotune songs. The details of this case are so scary, disturbing, and disgusting. I just can't believe this went on for 10 years. The cops, the men themselves, and what these poor women had to go through.

Fuck. I fucking wish these three would be released to the families for them to do whatever the hell they want to them. I can't fathom how people are able to do such cruel things to other people. How three grown men can do this to women. Not just this case but all the horrible shit we hear about in the world.

I don't think I can handle more details from this case. It will only get worse. The part about walking them naked in the backyard like dogs. I just can't.

A lot of people are going to lose their jobs for this. I wouldn't be surprised if that operator was one o them too - she was being investigated for her conduct, I've heard

No, they won't. Incompetence is a prerequisite to being in law enforcement. It's a big boys clubs where people are promoted out of nepotism and connections rather than the ability to uphold the law and use logic.

She could've been in on the whole thing..
Hadn't heard this yet but if so then she definitely had to know something was up, seeing as how Castro wife has been dead before the little girl was born.

Like a bunch of other gaffers said it wouldn't be surprising if there were many more girls considering these guys got away with this for years and it doesn't just start up out of nowhere(the kidnapping).

It's understandable, but its just refreshing how real Charles has been. It's nice to see that there agood people out there that will help others if given the opportunity.

As to the sentence these guys don't deserve to die right away, that'd be a luxury they don't deserve. If stories about inmates not taking kindly to rapists and pedophiles are true lets just say they need a long stay with those type of inmates.

How come it seems like parts of Ramsey's story keep changing. In all the interviews I've seen there are a few things that stay the same but small variations. Anyone else notice this?

Like what?

I've noticed a few details getting added but that seems to be because of more time for different interviews.

This video on USA Today actually does a decent job of explaining what I've noticed http://www.usatoday.com/videos/news/2013/05/07/2143005/

Yeah you're not crazy, it jumped out at me too. That plus the guy a few posts back saying he's the one who got her out of the house and that Ramsey showed up after it was all over.

In each of the youtube videos posted throughout this thread, the story he tells is significantly different.

Ramsey said in his first interview that there was nothing suspicious about the guy. In a interview later, he said the opposite. Maybe with hindsight he looked at things in a more cynical way

In one interview he kicked the door down. In another interview he couldn't get the door open so he waited for the cops and they kicked the door down. Lots of stuff like that throughout the interviews.

I can't wait to hear what she has to say, I don't even realize it until a few people noted what has come and gone in 10 years. A decade...cell phones blew up, Internet streaming, tablets, video conferencing, technology, gay rights, black president, North Korea changing leaders, just astounding.

Maybe that is why the police are digging the backyard?

:(

Jesus, a family of monsters...
