The fact is brand matters and it matters to a lot of people. There are a reason brands get away with ridiculous prices. People shallow people will pay the prices to show off the logos.
well different brands fit differently, if you find a brand that has things that fit you well you may prefer to buy clothes of that brand.
most expensive stuff doesn't even have logos, but generally more expensive clothes are designed better and look better when you're wearing them.
All the clothing I buy for ridiculous prices don't have logos on the outside.

J Crew makes some awesome pique polo shirts. The ligher material with the shorter sleeves compliments my body like a champ. It feels fitted, and you can just see my awesome chest and arms stick out like Craig wearing that black polo shirt in QoS.

Well sure, stuff is made with different materials and quality standards. I'm just saying that I could find a ton of stuff in Abercrombie that would look perfectly fine. I'm sure they have some plain button up sweaters or weathered t shirts. I don't love everything that American Apparel makes, but I really don't think there's a better t-shirt in the world. Most of the stuff in all of the stores, regardless of brands is incredibly overpriced. I am aware of the super crazy boutique brands and stuff but I'm aware that most people consider Ambercrombie and Fitch to be pretty damn expensive.

Go back and read my posts. All I said in response to another poster is that American Eagle/Abercrombie whatever isn't a high end store "for people who throw around money", because it isn't. It's low to mid end stuff, the kind of shit you find in a mall, and that's exactly what it is.
Barneys and similar are high end, and again...not my style. I'm a good bit older than you, and no longer have a use for it.
Designer labels don't impress me, don't concern me. Abercrombie doesn't impress me, and doesn't concern me. I spend more on things that actually matter- I own my own home in a VERY nice area, and several cars my fiancee and I are quite happy with. So feel free to throw around what other labels you have stored under a box in your bed, I'm sure someone, somewhere on GAF will be impressed.
