Fucking hell, utterly toothless display from West Ham today. Sam needs to seriously work on our away form for next season, as it's frankly embarrassing. Also, it's readily apparent that he has no real plan B, switching to a four man midfield at half time didn't make the slightest bit of difference. We've struggled to contain them, struggled to retain possession and struggled to look at least half competent.

Sam's likes his home wins and whatever happens away stuff.

Relegation Update

Norwich 3 - 0 West Brom
QPR 1 - 2 Newcastle
Sunderland 1 - 0 Southampton

Safe Sunderland ------ 37 -12 41
Safe Norwich -------- 37 -19 41
Safe Newcastle -------- 37 -23 41
16 Aston Villa ------- 37 -22 40
17 Southampton ---- 37 -12 39 - Likely safe on GD
------------------------------------
18 Wigan ------------ 36 -23 35

By the way, these are the worst possible scorelines as far as Villa are concerned.

I'm very concerned too.

It's not good for you, but Wigan are looking doomed -- unless they can stun Arsenal on Tuesday. Really wanted Norwich to go down instead of either, but that's not happening...

No escape at all for Wigan now. I think it's all over for good today if both Newcastle and Norwich win.

Despite winning the FA, things aren't looking good for Wigan as scores stand.

Also Sturridge has got all greedy now that he is on his hat-trick. That should have been a third goal. That could come back to haunt us.

With the way results are going, Wigan will have to beat Arsenal to stay up. Make it happen, Roberto.

Wigan need to beat Arsenal to stay up, not happening.

It happened last season. I'm not saying I expect it again but this is the absolute worst time to play Wigan. As long as Gary Caldwell isn't playing they are a huge pain in the arse.
