Once the item is in-stock, they send you a link to confirm payment along with the shipping cost chosen at the time of pre-order. While the shipping cost in the email is calculated into the overall price [the invoice], you can change it easily by selecting another shipping option once you click the payment link [the one they send you]. They even have estimates and everything ready to go for the shipping method(s) that are available. It's extremely painless. So you don't need to worry about choosing the correct shipping method now, simply place your order and wait for release.
That being said, unless you're shipping another item it should easily fit into SAL/SAL Registered. Unless, of course, you want it ASAP, in which case you'd choose EMS. Either way, it shouldn't cost much to ship. I can't imagine it's neither heavy nor large. >
