Yeah it really is smart, the game needs more time to sell and get exposure. Once GTA V hits, that's ALL lots of people are going to be talking about.

Also I'm going to get Jacob Jones and a bunch of minis today. I have $20. What minis should I buy? I already own Aqua Kitty, but I've seen some names flying around here and I want to get a good idea of what minis are doing well.

Agreed. Reminds me of the guys that were saying "lol rayman legends at the same time as GTA V they're doomed".

I LOVED Resistance and hated CoD: Declassified. Even though I got CoD for 20 bucks it's not worth it. Resistance is worth fullprice.

The controls in CoD are terrible :(

By all accounts, this game looks to be one of those "console experiences on the go". By all reasoning, it should blow the FPS starved Vita market wide open... Resistance: Burning Skies and CoD:Declassified will be distant memories.

Me? I like taking my Vita into the office with me and playing it on lunch break or during downtime. You're going to put a competent score-attack based Killzone on that? What do I care if I play GTAV when I get home. There's no "one or the other" ultimatum in effect. It's not like they're both in the same gameplay genre and competing for anything other than playtime. I own like 15 fighters and THOSE compete with each other for playtime.

Well, to the last point made, Rayman Origins was slaughtered by the competition. Arguably the best platformer to come out this gen, but grossly overlooked. If I recall correctly, it came out right around the same time as COD.

We can be myopic about this all we'd like, but I think a far larger number of people have a limited amount of money they're willing to throw at video games. Perhaps this isn't an issue for the people who frequent GAF and even less of one for those who own a vita (a niche device). I just think that given the importance this title holds for vita, it's a bit worrying that it's coming out around the same time as one of the biggest entertainment monoliths in existence. Apparently Sony feels the same, or they wouldn't have moved it up a week, no? I only contend that it would probably benefit even more if they moved it up some more.

Oh derr, I keep getting PSM and Minis confused :\ I actually have a bunch of minis but I always meant to get Where is my Heart?, so I'm definitely gonna get that now. I don't have any PSM games tho, so I'm gonna check these out. Thanks guy :)

Yeah I got a bunch of minis before and I got kind of bored with them. For some reason I have such a boner for PSM games now.

I'm especially looking forward to that crazy swedish space RTS game, I'm trying to get it now but I kept forgetting to update my firmware so now I'm doing that because it kept locking up on the PSN store :\ THEN I SHALL DEVOUR RIDAPSELNEFARWARTOR or whatever it's called.

Archibald adventure is one of the best minis ever, but since it's one of the oldest not many people knows it, but it's awesome
 
People saying buy Surge... I would pass. Atleast until they patch the game.

It currently takes like 2 min for the game to load. No thanks.
 
I want to buy more games but I'm going mostly digital and I dun have enough space left on my card. :( God damnit Sony I would happily give you more money if you would let me store all my games on a reasonably priced and sized card.

Wow, haven't played it in a while. What happened?

Also while playing Rymdkapsel I saw that my status in the friends app was just "PSM Runtime 1.11" and not the name of the game, which is stupid in my opinion. When I see friends playing stuff I don't know I get interested and look it up. It's nice word of mouth for games. PSM is already lacking in the marketing department.

When they update the PSM Runtime thing, it sometimes breaks games that use earlier versions of it.

I also got Tablet Mini Golf, I toyed around with it at work and I really like it. Some of the other AR things were kind of meh but I'm really enjoying the scenery in this one. I really need to start playing through the games I have though :\

To be honest, I'm surprised Rockstar hasn't touched Vita at all so far. Vita and iOS share so much of the same hardware that porting between them should be a piece of cake, so why haven't we gotten GTA3 Anniversary Edition, GTA:VC, and Max Payne on PSN?

Not to mention all those iOS games that are utterly useless without buttons like Soul Calibur (it's a dream to look at on iPhone with its high-res graphics and 60fps, but impossible to enjoy with virtual buttons), MvC2, Sonic 4, Dead Space, Rayman 2, etc.

Games like these would be perfect for the types of new release lulls Vita seems to experience every other month, and would require minimal investment other than testing and programming in button support. Easy money for zero effort.

Yeah, that's been puzzling me too. the general lack of mobile ports. We haven't even gotten any Gameloft support beyond those two games Ubisoft published. They're up to like 4 Dungeon Hunters now on iOS, not to mention that Modern Combat game. All of these would likely sell well on the Vita.
