Yeah I can agree with this. Thanks for explaining.
I'm still working on HS Stun Edge frc. I thought it was pretty hard before but it's getting a lot easier.
for some reason I don't see clean screenshots here so posting some:

Wonder if this will show up at E3, since it has english subs and everything. I could see it being part of MS' reveal or something, though not expecting any kind of exclusivity. Might be kind of soon but maybe they will show something, even if it's just Sol and Ky.
But again P4A beats both. That game is made for people who are new to fighting games.
With such a japanese centric fanbase I cannot see it being a microsoft exclusive.
Hell, it might not even appear on Xbox. Blazblue CP has no xbox port announced.
SF4 was the first real 2D fighter in a long, long time, and it revived the genre, so I think it should get a pass for slightly wonky graphics. I remember it being the first 2.5D game to really wow me. Nowadays it's less impressive, especially compared to stuff like this, but for its time it looked pretty damn good. How Street Fighter 4 should have looked.
UNREAL ENGINE?!
WHAT THE ****
Yeah, I think MS will just give up on Japan after failing with both the Xbox and the 360 to attract them.
I'm thinking that (if they have to) they should cut Axl, Dizzy, Justice, Kliff and Venom.
They'll need a keep-away character but Axl is boring.

Venom isn't either, he's the head of the assassin's guild now and has ties to major parts of the story.lol @ Dizzy getting cut, not gonna happen.
3D? Ill finally start this series. This is how all 2D games should be made, I'd give most of them the time of day and they'll have my money
If only KoF was 3D again
God, no.
KoFXIII has some of the best spritework this gen, next to BlazBlue. Those are like the only fighting games keeping sprites alive, aside from Skullgirls.
It's an extremely versatile engine. It just happens most devs use it for generic action games.
Seriously, you guys should go look at Hawken, DmC, and Asuara's Wrath. They all make excellent use of the engine.

I'm wondering if they're gonna go the cinematic super way: https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/F...m9Dg2wevWkSnbmr9ICUn_E4V5cY4jBAJi-KlR2w=w1600

Never knew that woah.
...but if we can get a different VA for Heihachi, and Daisuke isn't reprising as Sol...we could have a new Zato-1 VA.
Prior to this video, I strongly believed in the need for 2D sprite based fighters to stick around, now I am not so sure. If we can accomplish this now, by the end of the gen it should be near impossible to tell the difference.
only characters who might not make the cut:
kliff
justice
robo ky
order sol
that's about it really
maybe anji, i don't think i know anyone who cares about or plays the dude

Why do we need sprites alive anyway?

WHAAAATI uh...think it looks pretty bad.
Maybe I'm just attached to how much work and detail goes into animating 2D sprites. The animations in KoFXIII and BlazBlue are absolutely wonderful.
I don't mind if more fighting games start taking this approach, I just hope to god that there will still be sprite-based fighters around.
Ok then he get's to stick around for his unique gameplay. Either way he's sticking around. They really shouldn't keep a character just for the sake of story, though.

Please, Asura and DmC both run like complete dogturdlingers on consoles.
Thank god this is for next-gen, we can finally move past frame-tearing, bad framerates and texture pop-in. UE3 on consoles has always been a disaster, especially on PS3.
Venom's a great character with a great moveset. If Millia and Eddie are in, he definitely is.They really shouldn't keep a character just for the sake of story, though.

i wish they announced this before i sold my fight stick
In any case if Capcom is still going through with making a new Darkstalkers game, i hope it looks closer to this and nothing at all like SF4, SFXT or even MVC3 for that matter.
Is this Unreal Engine 3 or 4
Game is probably two years away.
God, no.

SolarPowered said:ASW was one of the early developers to get their hands on a PS4 kit. Chances are that they'll be at the Sony conference imo.

If dimps are handling it they'll probably reuse the SF4 engine.
