Yeah, I've pretty much had my hype and interest for this at 11 since day one. The other people high up on that list are better posters than I though. Don't know, but I have a hunch that IF they do a non-FPS Halo game, the next one will be full Uncharted, with coop and/or multiplayer fancy stuffs.

Third person? That sounds like Halo: Gears of War.
It'd never happen because horror doesn't sell, but I'd be all over a Halo survival horror game. Like being your average Joe Citizen during the New Mombasa invasion, barely able to use a pistol, trying to survive an invasion

I agree with him, halo as an fps needs a break. Really burnt out on shooters as it is. We need more games like bioshock though, just completed it today and was amazed.
Not gonna lie though, I would be pretty hyped for a halo squad type game, in the vein of borderlands or something.

Have you read the books? They are great! Also, they use to be on squads, or teams, since those histories are very cinematics, a four coop multiplayer non-FPS can fit easily over Halo lore.

I'm in Japan and have responsibilities, so what would be the best way to watch this at a reasonable time after the event, without seeing any spoilers? I imagine that even if I load the page on Xbox.com or gametrailers in advance and then refresh the next day, that the page will be plastered with stuff like 'relive the moment Xbox infinity and pgr 5 were announced!'. And that's assuming they even keep a recording up there.
