5 minutes tech talk
10 minute CoD demo
That leaves roughly 30 minutes for features, Kinect and other games. I'm expecting no more than 2 other games besides CoD.

Sony went to town on explaining the tech. If MS don't then it will look like they have something to hide.

Can I choose the middle ground of this hype/realistic war? I actually plan on getting both consoles and even though I loved my PS3 more than my 360, I want to see MS create a great console that will make me proud to own it. I'm not worried that they won't present something that will make me excited but I don't think it will be a complete homerun.
Also, Lost Odyssey had one of the best openings this gen. I wish MS would back a better paced sequel to this game

Agreed. It's best to get all the tech talk over and done with, letting people argue about specs for a few weeks and then make it all about the games starting with E3.
Honestly, I'm hoping they just reference a spec document on Xbox.com or something and just get right to what matters with services, games, and other content that makes up their vision. I'd love to see what Lift London and LA Studio are working on in addition to a couple of reveals from their more traditional studios like Turn 10, Rare, Lionhead, 343i, etc.

That is the best way to look at it. Hell, even IF they don't drop a bomb on us and say that it's actually more powerful, 1.2 isn't bad anyway.
I'm not expecting more than 2-3 on stage demos of games. Maybe a few game announcements. The focus really will be on the console and services. I really don't mind as I'm really interested in what new things MS can come up with. Even 5 minute game demos are a huge amount in a 60 minute presentation. Last year COD was like a 12 minute demo lol, hopefully not again.
