MarvelousAQL posted another Valhalla knights 3 game play video on their channel, this time with more story, character creation, and combat

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5HieMoNGJIA

From this video, the story and the setting really have a thick and dark atmosphere like Tom (xseed) said.

I think it'll be a fun RPG. It probably won't be like, 90+ metacritic material but it'll be fun and original nonetheless.

I'm setting my sights on Muramasa, Dragon's Crown, Ys Celceta, KZ: Mercenary, Valhalla Knights 3 and Tearaway. A lot of money, I know. I'm also getting a PS4 at launch, unless it costs more than 400$. If only XSEED/Marvelous would consider localizing Senran Kagura Shinovi Versus ;(

B-b-b-but import prices ;( Plus with my luck, my import will be the one that makes them finally OK the localization rofl. I think I'm going to cave and just get it this summer after I've cleared up more of my backlog.

Ah, yeah, I get that fear. I don't have any idea on localization chances, sadly. I just took the plunge. It's a really fun game. Plus, you get hip Japanese trophies! So everyone knows what a cool cat you are. Doubt you'll really need Valhalla Knights more than this..

Same, I'm super excited for Muramasa, Dragon's Crown, and Ys, the other three I not sure yet, need to plan my budget =P. I also wish that Xseed localize Demon Gaze too, I heard a lot of good impression from that game. I'm also super excited for Toukiden, and also wish it to be localized too.

Anyone up in here want to help me with Rocketbirds co-op trophy?

I'll most likely buy Muramasa, Dragon's Crown (this is on PS3 as well, so I'm not sure where I will purchase yet without crossbuy), Ys, and Killzone.
As for Scholbeleth, I'm pretty sure the PS3 is going to cost more than $400.

I still have problems unlocking the last puzzle in jacob jones, i loaded the save with the finished game but nothing? Am i supposed to pick all the cans or to do something else? :(

I'm playing unit 13 and it's not bad at all!
It's simplistic but i guess it's all about short burst plays.
It looks good, it has many missions, too bad it has no story, but the amount of single player content is really good.

As i already said imo it will be an underrated, overlooked decent game.

Tearaway previews have appeared!

Destructoid

Shacknews

Canada

Sounds good :)
Let's hope it doesn't get the soul sacrifice treatment(basically a boycott).

Sure, I can help. I've haven't played that much of the game though. My PSN ID is the same as my user name.

Noted -- I will clear some space on my list and I'll get back to you. I'm currently on ch8 of the main campaign and plan to knock out some progress today. I think the co-op campaign is different from the main game and shorter.

For whoever helps me get it, I will return the favor (you have to be the host to get the trophy pop at the end of the co-op missions).

I'm playing the end of Chapter 7 now actually. Seems like an easy gold to get. =P

A boycott? What?

Well if some of the people that get paid to play games(not to work in mines) don't try the multiplayer, a fundamental part of ss, or say that ss is a "button mashing"(basically they don't even know what are they talking about) or say it's "repetitive"(it IS repetitive, but i have never seen the same complaint for monster hunter that is waaaaaaay more repetitive) i call it boycott.

I see that complaint about Monster Hunter all the time.

Soul Sacrifice is a niche game in the West, it got the reception you'd expect.

No, if a game is heavy on multiplayer i expect that everyone deeply try it, and ss is the farthest thing from being a button mashing, imo it's crystal clear that some of the reviewers literally haven't even played the game.
I saw niche games having more in-depth and fair reviews, anyway niche game or not this is not how a reviewer works.

only game that intrigues me on the vita is djmax technika tune. what's the verdict on this? any good?

Heard a lot of good things about it. It surprises me that you see to only like rhythm games (i'm only assuming that, but since Vita has games about every genre that are quality, and DJMax is the only rhythm game, I came to that conclusion). Of course, even if DJMax Technika Tune is great, I wouldn't suggest buying a Vita if that's the ONLY game you want on it. Maybe soon there will be other games you want.

If you're into rhythm games at all GET IT. If you enjoy/love Asian music, GET IT. It's super addicting and a lot of fun - it's only downfall is the high price due to licensing, IMO. I keep coming back to it and get sucked into like 30-60 minute sessions while I'm trying to focus on completing some other games.

Not out yet. Made by ex-WipEout devs. Got a 3.5/5 from PSN Stores. Don't kow if it's been reviewed yet by anyone else.

Ahh. So wait, the regular price is $1.39?? o_O

I was assuming it was on sale for $1.39 and it's an extra 30% off for PS+. :lol

edit: reviews seem okay

Not sure if posted, but it seems that Batman Arkham Origins Blackgate on the Vita will not be a port of the 3DS version. The two games are being developed separately: https://twitter.com/jack_mathews/status/325980967271550976

That's really cool. It will be the same game (which does look cool) but no one platform is getting hampered by the other. The 3DS can still shine without being a downport from the Vita, and the Vita can shine without being an up-port from the 3DS.

I love the big bubble mode.
