He was naming all the people Stannis considers false kings, and Balon crowned himself King of the Iron Isles.
Does he not know about Denarys or does he just think that she isn't a threat?

The other 3 have declared themselves Kings that's why he calls them usurpers.
Nothing that Tyrion has done in the show makes me think that he is in the least bit attracted to Sansa. All of his actions make me think that he doesn't want his father to know that he is dating a whore. He isn't attracted to Sansa at all. I know their have been very subtle messages but that is not something I've read.
Hasn't she declared herself queen of the 7-kingdoms?
I guess it doesn't matter when Stannis is not there to hear it.

I thought the assassins sent after her were from people in Westeros, in S1 and then recently.
I can no longer post in here
See you on the other side. It's going to be fun.
I take it (s)he read the books. Why what happened?
By misogynist, I meant they only place worth in women for their bodies. You know it can be used like that, right?
My take is that Tyrion was actually drunk & being miserable about the whole situation. That played on him having such a defiant reaction to Joffrey's intentions. And on a related note above I also thought Tyrion was faking all that drunkenness and that he'd be sober once the bedroom door closed. He was just acting drunk so people wouldn't bother him too much or try and force him to have sex or blame him for not sleeping with her etc.
I would assume that Stannis knows. Even being that far, the story of ransacking 2 major cities and having an army of Unsullied + Dragons should start to make the rounds already. And his navy used to include pirates. Don't know if Dragonstone has any maritime commerce going on, but given it's position, might be the case. Otherwise, how they would get food/weapons?Does he not know about Denarys or does he just think that she isn't a threat?

I thought it was Robert who sent them? Remember, Ned advised him against it, but he still went through with it. That's why they had that whole fight.
I'm assuming it was through Varys that he did it. So it could be that only the small council and King and Hand of the King really know about Daenarys. Recently, I think the assassin was because she killed that warlock in Qarth no?
And I think the little girl worked for/was a warlock, because she had the purple/blue lips like them.
Did you PM a mod?
Book readers who are NOT being jerks should be on patrol. They'd be able to tell whether someone is genuinely speculating or """"""speculating""""""" when they make comments.
If they've posted in the book and spoiler threads before, that'd be a good sign.
Another good sign is whether someone makes a comment that uses oddly specific wording that makes no contextual sense at the time. I.e. Robb Stark is really losing his head in this war.
It's not a witch hunt, it's stopping people from deliberately being assholes.
He was already called out.
But if the book readers would just shut the hell up about it then no one would be any the wiser.
Fucking hell Samwell Tarly, you just killed an undead monster that shattered your blade with his hand using a relic of a weapon... AND YOU JUST LEAVE IT BEHIND!? Whyyyy why would you abandon the one thing that has helped you defeat that shit? I know you're panicky and shit but I would want what could protect me and it was right by your fucking feet. Pick that shit up and fucking never let it out of arms reach again. I needed to rewatch it and look at the wikipedia episode synopsis to confirm that he just left it there because I would not believe it.
I want this clarified in the next episode.

This is my biggest gripe about Season 3.
The warlock subplot was introduced in the first episode of this season and hasn't been mentioned at all since.

Actually that would be more reason for Stannis to know about Daenerys/Vyseris as he was Hand of the King before Ned. She wasn't really a threat then though...
No she hasn't. She referred to herself only once as the Queen of the Seven Kingdoms and that was only in the presence of a Yunkai noble. She hasn't actually declared that she wants the throne officially. I mean sure, she has an army and chances are she will want to go to Westeros and try to usurp Stannis' claim but she hasn't actually done it. Stannis seems to be very black and white in his vision of the world, so until Dany claims the train she isn't a usurper. When she does, then he'll deal with her.Dany hasn't done anything to usurp Stannis' claim to the throne yet, at least not in the eye's of the God of Light is my guess.
Wait wha? Stannis was hand of the king? I thought Jon arryn was the hand for Robert?
Re the Hands of the King, I think this is the full list:Jon Arryn was the previous hand, yes. It was his death that prompted Bobby B to go up North to get Ned to help him out.
Re the Hands of the King, I think this is the full list:
King-Hand
Aerys Targaryan- Tywin Lannister
Robert Baratheon- Jon Arryn, Ned Stark
Joffrey Baratheon- Tywin Lannister, Tyrion Lannister (technically), Tywin Lannister
I'm surprised Robb and friends have so little intel on what's going on in kings landing. You'd think news of Sansa's wedding would be all over the place.

sheeit right as I was sending him a PM wow. Ouch

On that note, Baeric must not be a very good swordsman if he's already died in battle 6 times in the last year. Even if you take away deaths by The Mountain and Hound, that's still 4 other battles he's lost.
Ohh, is that the association? The leech on Gendry's penis = bye bye Theon's?

Clever if that's the case..
To be honest, I have trouble keeping track on when these events are occurring. Are they all happening at the same time or we are just seeing slices spread from different moments?I don't think so...especially since it had already happened.

As others have said, some characters seem to be traveling faster than others.
Also, I'm surprised that the Hound could evade the Brotherhood that easily. Somehow assumed they were experts on tracking/pursuing, and the Clegane are anything but "subtle".

It STILL freaks me out thinking about his eyes popped out and dehydrated in the first episode.
