Don't send them.
Delete them.
Repeat until you unlock the extra stationaries.

You have to actively hit the back button in the bottom left it seems. I opened like 40 notes with like 15 having stationary and nothing happened if I just hit B but when I tapped the return icon in the bottom left it saved the stationary to my list.

The guy show you a map, you can say it's not your town and he show you another one.
He can show you 4 map at most.

I'm using them to attempt to stealthily sell my wife on New Leaf under the guise of sharing them with my already-convinced-once-she-can-save-up-a-few-more-bucks daughter. It's slow going.

Related: can you still start a character as a secondary in one town then move it wirelessly to another once you acquire a second copy of the game on another 3DS? We'd done that way back in '05 with Wild World, so I assume it's still a thing…

It wouldn't even be hard to do. There could be a dedicated game shop in every Animal Crossing town where they sell VC games. Buy the game from the VC through said shop, take it home to your pad, and play your old skool title while still in your AC town. I would have loved a feature like that. It probably would have boosted VC sales too.

Heh. My brain thought about how fun it'd be to play some of those games with people visiting your town but it would kinda take away from the point of exploring other people's towns. At the same time, I like leaving it up to the player if that's what they want to do. *shrugs* Won't ever happen but it's fun to daydream sometimes.

I think it really depends on if you think you'll fight over being mayor. *chuckles* Only one person can be. I'd personally be cautious and each have your own copy. There's no way I'm giving up control of my town to my finacé. *chuckles*
