Well, I'm not an 'insider', but aside from 'Versus', I know of one that will certainly make JRPG fans meltdown. No idea when it's being shown though. No hints either since I've never played a game in the series, and anything I say will probably make it obvious.

Also, DICE are bros.

Also, to break your heart more, LOD2 entered concept phase years ago for a revival and was then canned at that time.
So Mirrors Edge 2 exclusive to XB1 or BF4 at MS conference?

I just realized an awesome benefit that having a decent relationship with DICE would give Sony. They're the ones making the engine that will power all of EA's not sport games. If they kept them well supplied with devkits and info, FB3 could look and run significantly better on PS4 for nearly every EA game.

Nope. My lifeline is on 'Versus' at E3. Plus, someone has enough info from me via PM, that they'll have no qualms getting rid of me by E3's end if I end up so completely wrong. Not that it matters a great deal to me.

Just telling people to be reasonable. There are two other events too and Sony traditionally has presence at Gamescom too. They won't show everything at E3. They're naturally going to save some stuff for GC and TGS. Logical thing to do. Not that E3 won't have plenty of games, certainly will be their best one in several years.

I was just teasing you. I hope you are right :)

Also Star Wars Battlefront 3.

Maybe a new dragon quest or dark cloud?

I really want them to make a mainline DQ for PS4 but everyone knows DQ XI will be on the 3DS...

Dark Could 3 would be nice though. But they have to get rid of randomly generated dungeons.

I wouldn't mind a new Wild Arms, I really loved the series back then. Maybe a new persona would cause a meltdown?!!

Everyone knows P5 is in development. Won't be a next gen game though.

DICE's Alan Kertz (lead core gameplay designer on BF4) recently said that he thinks Sony are going to win next gen.

I'm curious why he thinks that. I don't see EA having any games for the Sony conference. They seem to be in bed with MS.

talking about ps4 title rite?
can't think of any. rpg series that can cause a meltdown
Dq is not gonna happen and it's not KH or FF
can't imagine p5 not on p3

Battlefield 4?

Yeah, I assume it's PS4. And I think there is a rumor going around that Persona 5 is PS3. I mean it makes sense knowing Atlus.

Verendus has already openly spoken of KH3 so it can't be that.

Tales? Do people melt down over Tales?
A new Chrono game will definitely cause a nuclear meltdown.
Earthbound well... There's a rumor about it popping in Amazon.fr for Wii U.

Star Wars Battlefront 3 by DICE exclusive to PS4. Believe!

This notion of ME2 being exclusive to X1 is ridiculous. When was the last time EA published a game exclusively for one platform in the past couple of years?

Multiplayer is. Doesn't mean they won't show SP at Sony's.

That really seems like a waste of stage time, unless it's a segue into announcement for exclusive DLC or some other marketing talk. I think with Destiny and likely another exclusive FPS IP there, Battlefield 4 would be overkill. I guess shooters sell though.

EDIT - thread moving fast.

Nintendo and MS have too much dragging them down right now...Sony seems in the clear to me.

But, it shows EA support live on stage.

At this point i'd be happy if Sony gave EA the middle finger. I think it's quite clear that they're one of the main players behind this used games garbage. Maybe that's what Nintendo ended up doing. They're paying the price for a lack of games, but they didn't screw over consumers in the process. And that's respectable.

This.
SE didn't have jack shit for the PS Meeting but even being up there meant they were supporting the platform.

Yeah but it was embarrassing. I would have preferred them not coming out to show a tech demo that we've already seen months and months prior and "prease be excited". A part of me died inside.

At least we got a hilarious meme out of it!

I'm really curious to see what EA does about used game stuff on PS4. They've already announced that they're ending online passes and Sony doesn't seem to have any of the same systems in place as MS does to block used games.

I wouldn't be shocked... the timing of them dropping online passes is too perfect...

It was cool to know that it was running on PS4 hardware though. I mean, I found that pretty impressive and we all know what they are hinting at for E3.

Remember how region locking on the PS3 was a publisher decision?

Was it actually running on PS4? I didn't notice any differences, which was a good thing. Granted, I never saw the 1080p/60fps/8x MSAA version in person.

If Sony just makes it an option, and some people like EA just choose to do it, then that's fine. Well, it's not fine, but it makes it easier to just avoid certain publishers. But making it system level...ugh...

I fully expect to see the PS+ pay wall stressed - too much money at stake. Basic multiplayer free, but EVERYTHING else behind PS+. I also expect that most third party publisher like EA will have the same BS restrictions on PS4

Will Sony is the real question...

I have a feeling EA will do something like that but other publishers won't. At least nothing much more than online passes. Acti doesn't even do online passes. Can't remember if Ubi does.

I expect the PS+ stuff as well, but as long as Plus keeps delivering content and Online Play, Netflix, Youtube, etc aren't behind a paywall that's fine with me. Basic functionality free, more advanced stuff costs money.

while I agree, Sony would need to have a serious power-play to pull this off.
That respectable middle finger could sink Sony.

Has any console survived without EA support in the past?
Like them or hate them, EA supplies a ton of content through the course of a gen.
