The director or someone at Sunrise must really like Singapore. Cameos in two episodes so far! <3

Episode 7

Oooooh yeah. This is good stuff. The show continues to boldly go where no one has gone before. Sometimes my brain turns into mush, but it's okay because it feels soooo good. There's some REALLY good character art towards the end of the episode too, for a certain scene. Lol!

Don't like the new ED much. Bring Angela back plz. :(

Real spoilers:
That pre-OP scene. OMG. The possibilities. THE POSSIBILITIES!!!!! SOOOOOO GOOD!

Because they want to sell two songs? I don't see how it's hard to understand. We're half way through the season, so they're changing it.

:kayos

I understand changing songs between season but I've never encountered a situation where it's done halfway through a season. Specifically after only 7 episodes....

The ending sucks. Already saw the ending thing coming. Wasn't that much of a shock. The beginning wat. This show is so lulz. Can't wait for next week.

EDIT: Describes this show perfectly

That scene above was so perfect it doesn't even need the text, IMO. Too much easy mode.

Valvrave 7

L-Elf was amusing as always, in several ways. The pre-title sequence makes me look forward to what I guess will be in the next season.

And yes, I'd say the very last scene was a little too cheesy with the
crying and all.
. But whatever, L-Elf was awesome enough this episode so I forgive him for (indirectly) causing that. Also, the short moment with the student president and the blond girl was also funny.

Really digged the pre title sequence, I'm glad that this show has L-Elf to point out how asinine the whole dumb high school kids running a country idea is. Coulda done without the final scene though. Preview seemed to show Haruto wielding scythes so here's hoping for some more combat

L-Elf needs his own show or at the very least an episode of him just being badass.

Final sequence was basically a what if scenario of LeLouch teaming up with some newbie Gundam pilot. Like where that is going.

And
WTF at that opening scene? Did the show ever mention people who become pilots actually becoming immortal in the process?

I think it was implied they were immortal after Haruto got gutted my L-Elf back in teh first episode. So it seems like all pilots become immortal vampires?

I just thought
they could take a ton of damage and sort of regenerate, etc.... wasn't really thinking of the whole living forever aspect.

When they mentioned vampire, I just figured they'd have extended lifespans as well, though her mention of a promise to someone could mean that Haruto had died too. Maybe they'd die if you behead them or something? Idk, was surprised they killed off the girl in glasses though, rarely do you see them linger on the body

200 years pass by and the mech technology still never improved :| Why is it worst girl is the only survivor? Anyway I don't give a crap about glasses girl, looks like Haruto best bud is gonna be the third pilot. I'm more interested in 200 years time skip, this is really a gutsy way to take into a new direction.

I thought it did improve, since there are no
transforming robots with quasi-animal modes
in the present.

Yes, I think it'd make the show a lot more interesting if they really go full speed ahead with the idea that's being teased right now.

Worst girl? best girl you mean. We talking about Saki right.

Expected
Shoko to bite it because of the ED change/single cover for the new song, but glasses-chan tripped all the death flags.

e:

And is that
an older Haruto's silhouette
in the new ED???

I think the "my sides have been liberated" of Q-Vier describes my experience the best. This was another outstanding episode for sure. In what way? I don't know, but then who does, or even care?

It's incredible what you can do when you know the anime you're making is going to get completely stupid.

Heil-Elf!

Glad that Aina got offed, couldn't stand the scenes with her
.
That beginning though - I would have been cool if the show just went with it, right now. Why was it there? Maybe a prelude for the second season?
Kind of weird how
Haruto kept talking in Harutovoice despite being in L-Elf's body
. It would have been great if that was the case when Saki and Haruto swapped too.

I rate this episode entertaining out of 11.

The show that keeps on giving.

Thunder seems like he'd be an awful pilot so it will of course happen. GOD BLESS

Golden Seven, huh? I guess that means that we're not just missing Valvrave II, but VII as well.

Evolving OP! Saki now shows up alongside IV in the montage.

L-Elf is such a boss.

Wonder if they'll try tossing Aina in a Valvrave to bring her back to life.

Crunchyroll doesn't put uncensored stuff out usually do they? I wouldn't know the difference since I watch my stuff from them anyhow.

Really excellent visuals for the ED. They captured H-neun and X-eins, Q-vier, A-drei, Haruto and L-elf in really great poses, especially the happiness of Q-vier in a few of those and a smile even from X-eins.

I found that it was just really back on track to what captured me and held me in the series. Certainly it was the best episode yet. Great L-elf doing wondrous things, Haruto in his usual state
But finally giving in to considering and even believing in L-elf finally. I thought it would take until like Valvrave 2 or something, but to happen this early, its exceeded my expectations. Though it seems like it is delaying the unveiling of other pilots maybe. And it also did dash my hopes of A-drei getting one. Just defect already like L-elf, he's the right hand man after all, even if he has Haruto as his right hand man too.

The ending scene
Crying L-elf was really sad and touching and worked well to provide some detail behind his character. I figure it is showing that the body remembers emotion and what not. Hopefully she's still living maybe and that he was to liberate her as well as every nation

Good episode, I liked.

Aniplex provided a full uncensored version of the episode to Crunchyroll even though the TV broadcast was censored. Impressive!

All right, after looking at these I'm going to go out and a limb and make a prediction for next week:

They will toss Aina into a Valvrave, and it will successfully resurrect her.

Sure, I might be wrong, but at least I won't have to wait long to find out.

Sounds dumb enough to happen.

But DTL, what about these pics?! Soooo hot! :D

Yes that was also the best part of the ED and often in the episodes themselves, which is why I really wish for A-drei to switch sides.

I wonder why they gave Saki a spin off instead of A-drei, I think we could really have a rather well thought out story involving him and his own pursuits given, at least, based on the plot in the anime, there is quite a bit of ground to explore with him and his right man.

Episode 8

Less crazy this week, as the show seems to have finally slowed down a tad after 7 episodes of rollercoaster nonsense. That's not to say nothing happens, lots of stuff happens, but it's just less "OMG I NEVER SAW THAT COMING" than before. But it's good though, they took the time to lay the foundation for certain developments that will certainly lead to more LULZ in the near future. Especially at the very end.... lololol. :D

Btw, Lieselotte = Aki Toyosaki. Which means, L-Elf's waifu is Yui! Maybe we can get K-On-GAF in here too! :p
