Valverave 8

Glad to see things are finally coming together, but I'd agree things were pretty much normal for a mecha anime this ep, was really surprised
that they didn't try resurrecting the girl in a Valvrave

Episode 8

Very normal, toned down episode compared to its usual standards. Guessing this is the calm before the crazy storm. Loved the
whip/sword action towards the end there.
. These suits look so good in motion.

Guessing
Aina's dude gets the Blue Valvrave
.

At this point I'm convinced L-Elf can't do anything in a non-badass way.

Bwahahaha that coffee analogy and L-Elf doing his thing, I thought its still hilarious.
And I'm glad Haruto not wasting his time in angst.

This show is like the perfect mixture of idiocy and insanity. I love it.

My favorite part was how earlier on in the show Saki seemed like this level-headed, smart girl, and then her big episode comes up and she just goes full on crazy pants. She is fucking bonkers. It made me laugh so hard.

Episode 08

So much for my prediction, huh? I still think there's a slim chance Aina might get resurrected later, but I won't venture to guess when it will happen, or who will do it, or for what reasons.

It figures that L-Elf's object of devotion would be gormlessly kind princess, someone with the sugar to balance out his bitterness, to adopt this episode's coffee metaphor.

I feel like I should have seen it coming that the guy named Cain was a vampire all along. Maybe if his name had been mentioned more prominently before?

Valvrave 8

Good. This show has been redeeming itself lately. L-Elf had his contract sign and everyone got some sweet coffee to seal the deal.

So who wants to take bets that
that green jem the guy had locked in the cage contains the soul of the young girl/princess?

Also L-Elf is such a gary stu but I love him.

Finally caught episodes 7 and 8. What a pair to watch back to back. Sooo much crazy.

So, from episode 7 we know they're are at least 7 Valvraves, giving us two missing units. In episode 8 we find out
Cain is a Vampier
. Given all that info, I'm suspecting Unit II will be
Cain's
and Unit VII will be a mid season upgrade for Haruto with Unit I either being destroyed or given to someone else, maybe even L-elf. I also suspect we'll get absolutely zero info about what the hell was going on in that flash forward until end of season 1/beginning of season 2. If all of season 2 takes place 200+ years in the future, this show will have reached epic heights I could have never dreamed of.

Haruto is L-elfs sugar? Nice, loved that whole scene and even the peace sign and what not. Last episode and this one have really brought the series to a new level for me. Otherwise I dont have much more to say on the episode, it went in the logical direction, did everything I expected it to and more, and what not. Its hitting its stride as people would say.

I hope Thunder isnt the one that becomes the pilot. I would much rather Kyuuma becomes it. After sitting there and seeing that he could do nothing, and for such a great character thats been around since the beginning and what not, he deserves it. I still would hope L-elf gets a Valvrave, and somehow I almost feel as if Shoko would get one, but I think she would also die due to the plot to make Haruto change or something. A-drei as well should pilot, he's always there too.

They need to return to shota L-elf though.

I think everyone who says that this show is entertaining just because of its stupidity should be shot by now. Even if it is true, it's getting old as fuck.

But I was pretty drunk watching this episode and I was laughing most of the way through.

L-Elf is back, full force.
Glasses girl reduced to what she deserved, a puddle of blood and oh man, that plan involving blowing the water reserves of the colony, lol.

Space hime-sama was absurd. The kind of comical perfection and kindness even Lacus Clyne can't possibly grasp. Love it.

Eru ERUFU is so amazing. Seriously every time I hear his name I smile and everytime he does anything it's stupid badass.

t to and more, and what not. Its hitting its stride as people would say.

I don't think the thunder guy will pilot either... He seems like he's way too hotheaded or eager to fight for them to give him a Valvrave. If they do it's definitely going to end poorly. I can't imagine a guy with his attitude handling that much power and immortality very well.

Episode 9

This episode is still rather similar to the last two episodes. Which is to say it's somewhat predictable, and not a lot of truly insane stuff happens. But that's okay, because it looks like they're moving all the plot pieces in place here, and they're mostly done. Entertaining stuff, REALLY good mecha action this week imo, with some pretty cool stuff. After the end of this episode, I don't think things are going to remain the same next week. :D

I am pleased that what I've been looking forward to for weeks now has finally come to pass.

WAR MINISTER THUNDER: VALVRAVE ACE

So I've watched the closing scenes of episode 6 around 10 times.

So damn hilarious. BOKU JA NA IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII

Bah the
two new Valvraves are lame as fuck. Super shield and then one with multiple arms for close combat. I felt Saki's Valvrave was extremely cool with the speed boost system and spinner knucklers but these don't excite me as much.

e9

loved all the mecha action, bout time they filled in the suits, really curious as to who'll take #6, I'm thinking a girl but that is only because its purple/pink

Thatsexist!

I actually think it will go to the blonde dude. Shoko getting a Valvrave seems like it wont ever happen. Alternatively it may go to the blonde chick, but I think that is less likely. My final guess is Eru Erufu, because his body somehow handled Haruto's valvrave. Of course it may have only been accepted due to being possessed by Haruto.

thunder's eight ten arm wrecking machine
??

Has to be
the red hair hacker girl.

Between the color scheme and its magish design I kinda went the sexist route haha.
I can see Shoko doing so to be noble and save others, the blonde chick seems too useless to try become a pilot. The class president could possible jump in to try to regain some of his power over the students or protect his sister. Or even the nerdy kid with glasses, since he's gotten quite a bit of screen time and could fit the role of scared pilot/nerd that could do well in a pinch

Has to be
the red hair hacker girl.

Yeah I think she'd work as a pilot, though my theory is that
anyone of the students are eligible due to some form of genetic marker that allows them to pilot Valvraves
.

O thing I hope they touch on how Saki is dealing with the thirst for blood, so far we've only seen Haruto go berserk.

Valvrave 9

Not as crazy as I'd have hoped - seems to be settling down to this standard mecha show.

Reveal at the end was obvious, I thought L-Elf already worked this out a while ago in Episode 6.

Episode 9

Toned down episode but at least
we've got two more suits in action now
.

Could totally see
the last Valvrave getting stolen by someone from the other side rather than another student from the school getting to pilot it. I'm sure there has to be some way around the piloting system to let non-students eventually pilot
.

This could be really interesting down the road, with all the Valvrave pilots. The beginning of the episode showed
L-Elf dealing with Haruto when he was about to attack but who is going to watch over the other three
.

Even in death, Aina continues to be the most shit character in the history of everything ever.

Too much of her, too little of Saki, moderate amounts of L-Elf.

Episode 9

Bully guy getting his own Valvrave
is a crock of shit. What a terrible character.

These past couple of episodes have really been killing my buzz for this show. I hope it gets retarded again soon or I'm out.

Episode 9 – Dogs and Thunder

L-elf and Haruto sharing rooms and what not? Somehow that part just sticks out in my mind more than the whole episode. I guess its just a bit shocking to see L-elf in normal student room attire like that or even bunk beds and dorms.
COuld have returned more on the scene with the increasing frequency of attacks though that was compelling.

Anyway I got one of my wishes fulfilled from this episode so Im happy
Kyuuma for the win and the blue one. I wonder who will be in the rest and there are eight valvraves (assuming that was an 8 on the one he was looking at at the end, leaving 2 and 7 still unaccounted for) A-drei, is a must.

Did feel a bit bad for the assistant commodore with the commordore there whenever she responded to him with the facts and he'd get mad.

I can't believe there are people still thinking that the pilot for the the purple VVV isn't
Akira.

Episode 8

Nice episode. Still a little slower than early in the season, but that's to be expected. They need some time to build to that bombshell from a couple episodes back. Nice to see us get closer to a full main set of VVVs. I can't wait to see them all fight together. They each have a really unique, awesome fighting style so far.

As for the end "reveal" it was all quite expect, though bigger in scope I suppose. The part that intrigued me most was what came right before when the professor was commenting
It has an official designation number, yet it didn't work?"
. Interesting..... I guess we can assume that it's
the missing VVV II
right? Can't wait to see that storyline get resolved.

I got a shiva vibe from that valvrave, maybe an octopus?

It felt a ton like Asura's fighting style from Asura's wrath. Sprouting extra arms from almost nowhere, using immense super arms to punch enemies to bits. It just felt way Asura to me.
