"Gareth Bale's agent, Jonathan Barnett, has appeared on Marca TV to express his willingness to listen to an offer from Real Madrid for his client."

Agents eh.

lol

I'm sure Barnett (one of the biggest twats in the game) would love to listen to an offer. Unfortunately for him he can't actually do anything. He goes on to say:
"But his contract is with Tottenham. We aren't free to talk with anybody at the moment, that's the point we're at.

"I can understand a lot of teams are interested in him. He's a great player but he has a contract with Tottenham. I don't know if there has been a bid [from Real]. What I do know is that the player has three years left on his contract."

Even this wanker knows that it's up to Levy and Joe Lewis.

I'm not sure what would be better. The United meltdowns if we sign Cesc, the Arsenal meltdowns if United sign Cesc or the everyone meltdown when United sign Ross Barkley for £20m.

You were already beaten to that one, I'm afraid. Juve are far more likely to sign him than Arsenal.

And Chelsea are far more likely than Juve. >:(

I thought Fiorentina already refused to sell to Juve? Unless I'm mistaken.

Chelsea are more likely than most with the resources they have.

My meltdown when we sign Ibra and send Llorente with Ziegler to Fenerbahce.

If Utd move for Fabregas, surely Arsenal will exercise their first option rights on him? Although, knowing Arsenal, they'll think £25m is "too much" or something.

What's the England team going to be tonight? Guesses?

-------------------- Hart -------------------
Johnson ---- Jones --- Cahill ------- Cole
Walcott ---- Carrick -- Rodwell -- Milner
----------------- Rooney ------------------
----------------- Sturridge ----------------

Do Arsenal have a clause whereby they receive 50% of the transfer fee if Barca sell Cesc.

If that's true then I can't see Barca selling for less than £40m. They'll want to recoup at least £20m back from any Fabregas sale.

Wasn't there something about a first refusal or a buyback clause? Maybe I'm just making that up.

Or maybe the press were.

A lot of media outlets are saying Arsenal have a first refusal. But ESPN are saying United don't think Arsenal will be a problem.

Will Wenger really pass up the chance to sign back one of the best midfielders to ever play for the club?

yes

I don't think so.

I think we received an extra fee after he won the league.

Big Luciano

Excellent.

Come to Moysey, Cesc.

The first refusal thing and the 50% cut were rather widely reported at the time of the Fab's transfer. I think it's likely to be true.

Fab won't leave for ManU anyway. He is a gunner at heart and loves us dearly.

/That's what I would say in 2007.

Serious question. As I don't live in UK , why all the hate for Piers ? I suppose it goes beyond him cheering for Arsenal but never knew the exact reason.
