its very difficult on hard.So how difficult is this game? Please say that this game punishes you very hard if you just Rambo your way through.

This might make no sense to some here but TLoU reminds me a lot of Conker
That game was a technical marvel, it packed a lot of stuff for a N64 game, but there was no way around the aging hardware, you could still see how the game was too late on the console's lifecycle
Is the same with TLoU, it feels amazing and you can tell naughty dog put a huge amount of work on it, but the PS3 is 7 now, and the jaggies, the not-so-detailed textures and some lack of detail for the sake of performance is impossible not to see most of the time.
Sometimes I think it would be much better as a PS4 launch game, in fact I believe it would be the best launch title a console ever had.
I haven't noticed jaggies honestly, just horrible texture compared uncharted. It's quite bizarre knowing ND.
I agree.

I can see this getting Kazified for E3
Someone who finished the game gives a good preview of what to expect (without going into much detail). All spoiler free.

Want to know if I'm alone in this; this game reminds me a little bit of Manhunt sometimes. It's like a massively evolved, souped-up, big-budget, triple-A, end of the gen, HD, Naughty Dog-developed, cinematic Manhunt game with zombies instead of psycho gangs. It's there not in narrative but in the stealth, the darkness of the demo, the execution finishers, the creeping about from room-to-room, the melee, the thrown distractions, the idea of enemies that are sensitive to sound and the luring them around/messing with them this causes. Playing the demo with Listen mode OFF reminded me of how I eventually became so good at Manhunt I ended up playing on Hardcore, the secondary mode that switches off the radar and has you playing with just your senses. This fact alone is set to make it one of my favourite games ever.
I will check for you later.I really hope that by turning the violence option down in the options menu you won't get exploding heads like that. It's on the one hand not realistic and on the other hand (at least for me) hard to look at.
From that knee gif, could the infected have weaker bone structure than the uninfected?

Pretty much explicitly the case I think. In the demo, when you first approach the seated clicker, they comment on how disfigured it is and Tess says, "That's what years of infection will do to you."
Replaying the demo right now and noticed one amazing graphical details that I haven't seen get mentioned:
When you get to the room where the building starts to shake (and the chair starts to move), if you turn on your flashlight and move to the red desktop and illuminate it, you'll notice how the wall to the right also gets highlighted in a red sheen! Very cool attention to detail. Seems to be valid for all red-ish surfaces too.

Is it Kaz giving it or taking it?
The sound work really is amazing.
Going inside that truck and hearing the rain hit the roof is amazing.
If I rent God of War: Ascension will I have the chance of download the demo, or if someone rented the game before me, the right to download the demo with that disc will be gone?.
You cant.Stupid question, but how do I actually equip my shiv or bat in the game? As in, to run around with the same way as you equip the handgun.

Directional pad.
hold X to swap options with each category.

And it's specific to material type.
I walked around the perimeter of the open area before walking up to get a view of the destroyed capital.
I believe I heard distinct sounds of rain impact on plastics, concrete, aluminum and metal.
Unless I was drunk on hype. I'll check again today.
Tried that, only category it lets me swap is the handgun (I imagine I just didn't have a swappable alternative to the bottle or the med kit). The only swappable item the handgun had was the revolver. No shiv or bat option using the d-pad's.
Yes, you will download the installer from the disc. From that point you can remove GOWA and initiate the demo download from your game folder. (There will be a new TLOU folder)
Not sure how I feel about enemies having more health (I'd rather we take more damage instead) but it's good to know resources are toned down. Thanks, guys.
that depends on the giffer personally im team Kaz.
Also has anyone seen this looks like multiplayer details.

I really don't know what to make of the MP stuff. It seems very different almost as if it could be a persistent world.
Yeah, the resources and damage taken are definitely tweaked on Hard. I stunned a Clicker with a brick, then ran up and smashed his head with one blow with the 2 x 4 (my friends in the room went crazy, lol) on Hard, same as I did on Normal. I had no shivs left at the end though; couldn't upgrade the stick like on Normal.I'm still not convinced they have more health... needs to be tested. I only played normal one time to look for differences. All I know is that I melee and shiv'd a clicker on normal, and that fucker kept coming. It's possible enemies have the same health. Like I said, need to test it.
But I know for sure Joel takes more damage on hard and the resources are very limited.
I agree.

I think if you grab a Clicker with stealth the shiv is a one hit kill; if it's aware of your presence it just pisses it off.It seems random, sometimes a shiv will kill the clicker, sometimes it comes back for more.

Every grab has = death for me.I mean during a fight, when it grabs you. In my experience sometimes it dies and sometimes it doesn't.
It actually sound like a cross between DayZ and The Walking Dead, which is what many people were hoping for. It's just an Uncharted reskin. Well, assuming that the description is accurate.
Ah, I'll have to test that. Every time a clicker grabbed me and I shivved it, it just stunned it for a few seconds, then I ran lol.I mean during a fight, when it grabs you. In my experience sometimes it dies and sometimes it doesn't.
