Nowhere in that quote does he say that it's one IP. He just says that fans of their IP will be pleased.

I thought it was known the Kinect Sports team was still working on Kinect and another team was working on an update to a historic IP? There have been hints there is a third team as well.

I hope your right but I'd doubt we'd get both conker and banjo at the same time. In a perfect world (my perfect world) it would be Banjo platformer with Banjo racing adventure as the main multiplayer(spiritual successor to diddy long racing, using characters from the new game and conker as racers). A new killer instinct and a new PD. but I'd guess they're name will still be on the new kinect sports.

I imagine the Reveal turned a lot of people off of the system, therefore meaning less people are hyped for Microsoft.

Nah. There's just been lots of Xbox discussion in some of the other threads. MS hasn't talked very much about their games, and there haven't really been any leaks. This is also the wrong forum to go to, to talk about their entertainment features. Sony obviously showed off way more games, and Nintendo is already on the market so there's just a lot more to talk about. That should change after the conference though as MS should be showing off all of their games.

A good amount if the top posters from the reveal thread got banned in the subsequent days (hours) after the reveal event. And well frankly there hasn't been a lot of positive MS news on the board recently. Hypes building up though. Some tease or leak and this thread will start going.

For a more on topic point: What do you guys the genres of the new IPs will be? I'm thinking two shooters (one SciFi, one Modern), one RPG, two action/adventure, two family/younger audience games, and hopefully a sports game.

Yeah I guess that makes sense. Almost all Xbox discussion is on DRM right now, I hope Microsoft has the games to take some spotlight off of that.

Are you insane!? This is E3! E3! Even if the reveal event was 10 times worse than what it was, there's almost no way people wouldn't be curious about what Microsoft has to show of their games lineup and their new console at E3.
