Arya's Vine has a pretty spoilerish recap of episode 9 LOL

Well really in the end, whoever gets the throne is whoever is willing to fight for it... bloodline or not. As this series has shown.

Wouldn't Jon Snow be next heir regardless?

A son of the king is a son, bastard or not.
Nope bastards don't have any title claim whatsoever and even if he did he renounced it when joining the Night's Watch.

Also Robb was a self-proclaimed king, so you can be damn sure right now there is no King in the North at all but only Joffrey Baratheon, King of Seven Kingdoms and Protector of the Realm. The Lord of Winterfell will be a Warden of the North only again (which should be Tyrion seeing that everyone thinks Brann and Rickon are dead).

i really like the jon snow being ben stark's son theory. this means he is not a bastard, and if he can find some way to get out of his vows with the night's watch (which shouldn't be hard considering they're already standing on their last leg and are probably going to get destroy during the inevitable invasion) then, under the laws of succession, he is the heir to winterfell (assuming bran and rickon are still presumed dead.) then he can bring justice to the south and rule over everyone with daenarys as his queen and arya as the hand of the king!

This is far too happy for this program. What are you thinking.

Now if you don't get banned people might think this is NOT a spoiler and thus are spoiled anyway because they know he won't come back.

But if you DO get banned then people will think that it IS a spoiler.

And you would have just spoiled me, too with quoting that post

The sad part was when Bran fell and was in a coma Jon was devistated. Before he left he went to see Bran and wished him all the best, even though the whole time Cat was mugging him.

Jon helped him practice archery and sword, and Bran doesn't even seem to give a shit.

Lets say Tyrion becomes warden of the North due to his marriage with Sansa, or Sansa has children and then Bran/Rickon/Jon/or Arya shows up. What would happen? Would Bran or Rick be able to contest for the North? Or would it be up to the King to decide?

Yeah I would have thought Bran seeing Jon in person would have been a priority. Instead it was "hey oh cool."

A man of honour - who sold slaves.

And spied on and/or was supposed to help assassinate Daenerys--before he had a change of heart because she fine (sound familiar? :P).

"Say, Ser Barristan, did you ever happen to sit in on any, you know, Small Council meetings?"

"Nah. Why do you ask?"

"Oh, you know. Just curious."

The Hound and Bronn are underrated.

"Fuck the king's guard. Fuck the city. Fuck the king."

"Poor nose."

"Don't feel sorry for him, he'll be halfway up your ass before the night's through."

ya'll better get some seats on #teamstormborn

For the simple fact that she has EVERYTHING going for her, I fear for her life eventually. She's got dragons. Assembling a mega-size army. Has 4 guys who are elite level warriors (Jorah, Barristan, Grey Worm and Fabio) at her command. Will have the element of surprise. She's gonna F it up somehow.

I agree:

Arya - "I know a man who could kill you with his pinkie."

The Hound - "That him?" *gestures to the old guy on the ground*

Arya - *confused look* 'Noo...'

The Hound - "Good." *goes to kill him*

Absolutely one of my favorite characters on screen.

I'll answer this in a PM (no spoilers, but just since it's not show info)

So who would you say is the Lord of Winterfell / King in the North? Would it either be Bran or Tyrion?

What if... Hodor's mind is simpler / dumber than the dire wolfs?

Bran is rightful Lord/Warden of Winterfell. But in the show they all assume he is dead so once the news spreads of Robb's demise our boy Tyrion will become the new Lord/Warden of Winterfell.

The Hound is the secret best character in the entire show imo.

I think you're thinking of The Hound. That's Sandor Clegane. Gregor is his big brother, The Mountain. Who burned The Hound's (Sandor) face.
No,I was talking about the Mountain. If I remember right, the Hound played with his toy WITHOUT asking? Such a blasphemy! He should have killed him for such a sin!
:P

The hound is awesome.

He saved Arya despite the fact that everyone who would pay for her is either dead or royally pissed off at him.

Well, except maybe Littefinger, I can imagine him wanting to scoop up Stark kids. But I think the Hound is acting out of honour now.

Man, that just reminds me of the one scene they had together, before the Blackwater battle. Wish we could've seen them really fight.

He said he saved Sansa for the king but I feel he has a wee moral code he doesn't like to let people see.

Who did Edmure Tully end up marrying? It didn't look like any of the daughters that were shown earlier in the episode...

I imagine someone as cynical as him would scoff at the idea of honor. I think he felt guilt for killing her friend and is trying to make up for it.

I asked the same earlier. Did he have to pick a homely one from the lineup before he was surprised with the cute one?

I think the Hound is sentimental when it comes to Arya and Sansa, but he's otherwise a brutal man who doesn't seem to care for much else.

Sansa would pay for Arya now that she and Tyrion are in charge of Winterfell (if that's really the case). So she's still worth some coin. And Sansa owes The Hound for saving her so she won't turn him away.
