Also, I see Thuway the miracle insider is back. I don't know what happened and what I missed over the years for that to happen, but amazing.
Anyhow, bring the games MS. Like I've been saying all along.
Probably not much of thing with Dark Souls, but would be killer if they could grab that for X1.

never really mattered to me whether it was 30 or 60, i just want a stage demo.

I think that's a good idea, there's plenty of time for Microsoft to clarify, expand on and yes even change their policies and directions. Listening to the endless FUD spreading on GAF is recommended only with a considerable pinch of salt (readily available in many threads, incidently)
Let's see what Microsoft bring in five days.
Awesome, hopefully we'll get 1080p too, though 720p at 60fps would be preferable to 1080p with 30fps.

Yeah. Nintendo games are pretty much the perfect example of this Art-style and effects go a long way. It's why MGS V looks so friggin' amazing so far.
Well I don't plan on buying a Xbone, and in the short term a train-wreck conference is more entertaining.
In the longterm though it's my belief that there isn't room in the industry for 3 home consoles, especially when two of them are gunning for the same target (as did PS3/360, and apparently Xbone/PS4). There's already plenty of heathy competition for gaming, there's similar platforms like PC and the yet-to-be-proven hybrids (Ouya, Steambox, etc.), there's less similar but still gaming like mobile and tablet, and then there's every other kind of entertainment. There won't be a monopoly in gaming because there are so many similar ways to play games.

Luckily, I have the night off work.
Although, even if I did have work, I would've taken it off. This is a pretty big event. Next gen unveiling/games doesn't come around often.
Unless you are starving and need the dosh, take a day off and relax..

It seems like a great number of people on the gaming side want MS out of the game, so Sony can go back PS3 arrogance, and slap the consumer.
I hope that both systems push each other to do better. Not for the destruction of one of them.

Sony will be at 3 AM here... luckily I did take the morning off.
I have an important meeting in the afternoon, though. I still haven't decided if I'll watch everything live and sleep in the morning, or sleep during the night and catch up with all the infos before noon.
Great that its confirmed 60 fps, but was it confirmed 720p only? Although he does seem to be downplaying resolution....

In many ways, the anti-Microsoft crowd only have themselves to blame. As famousmortimer said, it's reactionary. Your resistance only makes Microsoft's penis harder.
People talk about "panic mode Nintendo", that's nothing compared to panic mode Microsoft. They'll come out swinging for sure and I feel misplaced overconfidence will be given the boot in favor of determination to make this console a success.
He was talking about the 360. I would imagine it'll be 1080p, there's some ridiculous assertions being bandied about on the forums today, but the Xbox One is perfectly capable.
The IQ in these screens are too good to be true.
