Well, I can't see them revealing Pokemon Trainer from X/Y, but mainly because we don't know the Starters evolutions and I can't see Smash leaking them before they appear via XY.
With better a netcode. Also Hd, a chance to balance stages and characters and add some new fresh characters in.

I don't think so. If they weren't included in Brawl, I don't see why they'd make it now.

No I didn't. It's funny cuz it sounds implausible.
Pichu hurts itself with electricity and Lucario has his aura buff. Two examples of characters with extra details. Yeah SSB is a cartoony fighter, but sometimes characters can be represented even better than their native games.

Smash is built as a party game. There's always Brawl + or Melee for the meleetists.

Elitests? As a dude who just owned a GameCube and loved Melee and owned a Wii and thought Brawl sucked, I don't really see how I was being an elitest at all.

I can see that. However, Brawl was the first game with Pokemon Trainer, so it seems natural to go with his first iteration for his introduction into the series. Now? Not so much. It is literally Pokemon Trainer and not Red.

I endured hell to play the japanese version of brawl on my PAL Wii back when it came out. There's no game which cah compare to Brawl in terms of fanservice!

I don't remember that. While I think Sora would be a great character to appeal to more people, he isn't a character I associate with Nintendo. I really don't like to debate whether or not a character "deserves" to be in Smash, but I think Sora would be less "deserving" than a Nintendo character. The same applies to Snake even though both characters would be great to have.
Brawl's is the best one.

Ask him if there are more restrictions placed on him when it comes to using Pokemon characters. I've heard apparently that The Pokemon Company has more say in that compared to some of the other series.
This is something that confuses me as well.
Is it because they also have the tv show?
