Microsoft's E3 conference date is Monday, June 10th

What the heck, one Insomniac game has now turned into a trilogy? Banjo 1zees, Twozees, and Threezess?
 
I never said trilogy, i said exclusive. It may be a trilogy, I have no idea. All I heard was that Insomniac was actually going to be on stage with them. We'll see if it's true.



And I may have a lot to prove if you haven't been paying attention... but after getting about 15 Vita and PS3 reveals correct... and the entire first party lineup of the PS4 reveal days before it happened (which included 2 new IPs no one ever heard of).... the mods trust me.


I've also been wrong, for the record. Sometimes shit changes.

the banking guy with the Stella avatar said Insomniac were prepping two games for Xbox One in 2015 and 2017, I am just thinking it is a trilogy :P

He said the main studio in Burbank is working on the new ip. Also, he said Sony and Insomniac got into a fight, Sony treated Insomniac like a bastard child, and Ted didn't want any of it

Can't say, all I know is that if Sony weren't planning as bad a DRM policy they'd be making hay right now. As famousmortimer said above, shit changes. Personally I expect ME2 will come to PS4, Microsoft have already managed TitanFall so I wouldn't expect any more exclusivity on games from EA to be honest.

I actually don't know anyone close to MS. I know people in third party and I know people at Sony. So some of 'predictions' are through a process of elimination. If Mirror's Edge 2 is a real thing, and by this point I think that much is clear, I know that it isn't listed on any PS4 release list through the end of 2014. So putting two and two together I felt comfortable enough to say it was a MS exclusive. That's just the evolution of how some of this stuff comes about.


Other things, like Hawken, I talked to someone on the team. But I haven't talked to him since like the beginning of march. I assume nothing changed but as of then it was going to be X1, PC and ios/android (scaled down, of course).

I don't mind if Mirror's Edge is Xbox exclusive. For all we know ME was dead franchise before MS scooped in and revived it (just like Nintendo revived Bayonetta). If that's the case, its a huge win for Microsoft.

Yeah, I am actually inclined to believe MS when they are adamant E3 will be about the games.

Console launches are always an exciting time regardless of negative press and bad news.

Thought I saw Kagari saying EA only gave Microsoft (implying Titanfall) one thing and that was it.

I care 100% and love the stuff you are doing. But I am also incredibly interested in games regardless of device. Appreciate the work in the various threads man.

MSFT hasn't released many titles on the 360 lately so it makes some sense that they have been putting all resources into Next Gen.

OMGWTFBBQ's rumor about that is that the deal was for exclusive DLC and two exclusives.


Kagari has better sources than me though. It's very, very possible she knows more than I do. Like I said, my intel on that one was patching different bits together. And those release lists aren't always complete... the vita one didn't have Rayman on it for this fall 2 days after it was announced publicly...

Sony treated Insomniac like a bastard child, they didn't give them the marketing budget or something. Ted got pissed and decided to walk away from them. There were multiple rumors about this, I even created a thread about it, but it was shot down by their community manager. It's all in that thread...go read zomg's posts
