It really depends on where your house falls on their route that day. I usually get release day delivery games at 10 or 11 AM but I have gotten them past 6PM as well.

Yeah. I convinced my friends to grab the GoW Saga Collection and Infamous Collection as well on the same day. I mean its nothing noteworthy because they were just compilation collections, but walking out with some games before the release date from the flag store felt good. It was a mistake on their part though since they shifted the release date a week early compared to EB.


But yeah, EB won't budge.


You will have better luck with local mom n' pops, Walmart (definitely Walmart, they also broke the release date for some notable games I recall from my when I used to browse RFD), or local classifieds and flea markets.

Playing The Last of Us makes me wonder why everyone is so desperate for next-gen graphics. I guess not every developer can get as much out of hardware as Naughty Dog. But still.

It's not even about graphics for me, it's about RAM. There are so many more possibilities open to devs when they have more memory to play with. I've been ready for next gen for 3 years because even if the devs say "Oh there's a lot of power left in these machines," open world games are shaking their heads and desperately crying out for some breathing room.

Am happy to see stuff like ND sending off the PS3 with this game, and Rockstar bringing out a gigantic GTA sequel late in the gen? Sure. Would I prefer if they were next gen launch window titles? Hell yes. Is The Last of Us satiating my hunger for better tech? Hell no.

I am torn. I love new systems but I still play my ps3 and 360 regularly now and have a huge supply of untapped games. I feel like I should sit out a year or two and play my wii u more.

Maybe if launches and availability are light I will pass on next gen and play Beyond and GT6

More power or next gen hardware is not all about making things shinier, you can open up levels a lot more with better hardware and you aren't as limited.

I bet if you saw TLOU running on a PS4 all decked out though you'd change your mind in a game like this immersion is key and visuals go a long way towards immersion

Anyone who give this masterpiece below a perfect score deserve to be yelled at.

ND went even beyond their limitation which was already impossible and made a game that will make your jaw drops millions of times.

The amount of details is just CRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAZY.

Whoever made this game aren't human... they are supper human.

Having the best time of the generation, enjoying every single moment... can't believe how much I'm enjoying this game.

You guys are about to experience something like never before... and you will remember my words when you play this amazing mind blowing game.
