You don't have a choice. Everything is digital. The discs act as a means to validate you actually own it and that is about all. You don't play the game off the disc. The game is downloaded onto your HD.

Similar to on PC. You download the entire game onto your hard drive and don't need the disc anymore technically if you by disc based PC games.

I agree, Xbox One is a digital-only console, just like the future Steambox.

Which is just fine with me. I'd kill for my 360 library to act the same way, but it's not possible due to no disc registrations. I don't play any games that I haven't installed onto my hdd first. Reduced load times, less wear and tear on my drive, and less noise. And on the XB1 I get the benefit of digital with physical releases. Install game and take disc out forever...or at least until I need to reinstall it due to deleting the original install for space purposes.

Hell this is what I was hoping for when the original no used rumor popped up. All games get registered to one profile allowing for no disc play. It's just a shame they didn't stick to their guns and had to cut gamestop in to appease casual gamers that need to sell (to gamestop) which resulted in the dumb online check.

There seems to be no safe place to ask this, so I'll ask here.

Since games use the cloud, do we know how mich bandwidth it will use? For people with limited gb per month will just playing a game use up a ton of their allocation?

I suppose it will depend on how the developers use it, obviously. And since we have no clear idea of how they intend to use "the cloud" in the different games...
I don't think it will be their best interest to use a lot of bandwidth though. Because of network constraints, cloud processing is more interesting when you have to do big tasks on small data.

True. Also what about when you're playing offline? Maybe it caches a lot of the cloud data? I dont know.

I come back on and no E3 2 day gif? I'm sad about this but I guess its still early for some skilled gif guy. I been thinking that we will see crackdown 3 (need it in my veins) epic games, Respawn, EA Skate 4!(believe!), some sorta transfer xbla games I think maybe MS will work some arcade sellers to make sure they work on the X1. If not that's cool but it would be a nice surprise.

The XBLA thing I don't mean free copies I mean that they will help convert a few big sellers to X1 maybe would be nice.

I'm very curious about what the new dashboard is going to look like, and if there really isn't any avatars anymore.

I heard someone mention that they wont be packing in a headset anymore, do we use the Kinect to chat with? If it still provides private chat, how will it be implemented on the Kinect?

So many unknowns, cant wait for E3.

they said in the notes of policies that 1.5mps dl was recommended
to take advantage of cloud

Does anyone think pre-ordering and pre-loading will be available on Xbox Live? I would be all for games preloading a day or two before launch on the Xbox One.

where are the pictures of the boxes, the E3 bears and such? guys I have an exam 3 hours before the Microsoft Keynote, you should help me cope with this strange mixture of wait and anxiety with some pre-E3 crazyness c'mon :D

With Same Day DD launching, it would make sense to pre-load some of the bigger titles.

Do we know, if MS only wants to show exclusives in the conference?

Well, we still haven't had a proper COD demo, so they'll probably be there to open the conference.

I'm also expecting some stuff like a trailer for The Witcher 3 (the game is still not announced for One), and Fallout 4's announcement.

I think Acti is doing COD on their own? Was raising questions if MS would have a big showing like they usually do.

COD gameplay will be shown tomorrow (Sunday). Hosted by Geoff.

COD is having a event tomorrow that is going to be live stream.

Thanks, I knew I heard something.

edit: With MS buying exclusive on Respawn's game could Acti be a little angry?

The conferences are the best place to show the games. Activision doesn't have enough games to make a conference.
Destiny is at Sony's, so COD will probably be at Microsoft's.

See above. And the counter to Destiny is TitanFall. Sure only one is exclusive but they're both new IPs.

Ok... I'm sure I'm late but here are my predictions:
- TitanFall
- Mirrors Edge 2
- Mad Max or Just Cause 3
- Fallout 4
- Crackdown 3
- New Fable
- Ryse
- Forza 5 gameplay
- PGR5 for 360
- New epic game. (Maybe only fortnite)
- New unknown IP (Black Tusk)
- Killer Insinct or Bloodwake successor
- several smaller Kinect titles (sports and family stuff)

That's more than enough for 90 minutes
