Today is the last day to get on the train. In 2 Hours, the trains will leave NeoGaf station and be cropped onto a beautiful background which Ford and I are working on.
 
Well, Aunt Nancy's panties got him/herself banned 14 hours before E3... People need to relax and not take it serious. Let's see what happens tomorrow.
 
These last few hours are the worst...I am really excited about what MS has to show...I am secretly wishing for a Fallout 4 teaser.

Was is ever confirmed that the new Xbox will not contain a headset?

Pretty sure the kinect acts as the headset. Madcats are making a headset too AFIK.

Any tips on getting free swag?

I'm really excited as it's my first e3, despite all the xbone madness.

I wonder if i can somehow smooze my way into the Sony conference.

The controller uses a new proprietary headset connection for "higher fidelity audio". Since it will not accept existing headsets wouldn't you assume they will include an accessory that has to cost them double digit cents to include?
 
If the E3 media briefing is called "A new Generation of Games Revealed", I expect more Xbox One games than Xbox 360 games (16 One + 4 Xbox360).

If these are the only out of house exclusives they have managed (beyond Titanfall) I would be sad. Mirror's Edge isn't the type of game I am interested in. World of Tanks I will try (if till f2p), but have never much cared for vehicle combat games. Prince of Persia may be a decent game, but as an exclusive it wouldn't bring much excitement to the masses given the past two installments performances.

Microsoft would have better luck showing all new game from some of the industries most respected studios. A deal similar to the Mass Effect trilogy (obviously fell through as exclusive) and Too Human trilogy (no such luck getting past the first game). These games when they were announced got people excited about the platform though. Does anyone think that a PC port of a f2p games and two sequels to mediocre selling franchises is the best idea to show off a console lineup? I am hopeful that Microsoft has some great software to show from in house studios at least.

No they're putting the media spin in the outline the other day, wait for confirmed info later this year is what cboat is pretty much saying.
At the end of the day if it didnt bother you now it shouldnt bother you moving forward I think.

Confirmed Microsoft actively attempting to buy PS4 non-mentions. If you don't explicitly hear third part say "OUR GAME IS EXCLUSIVE FOR Xbox One" then confidently assume PS4 version is available behind scenes.

Its the same bullshit every year like the Diablo crap at the PS4 announcement. I hate it. But it may work for bigger media outlets doing shallow reporting.

It's fucking annoying.

But on the other hand it's really easy to spot.
If you don't hear Sony or MS tout "Only on our console" you can safely assume it's multiplat - D3 being a prime example.

All you have to do is look at the PR announcement after. No assumptions needed unless they extend it there too which I doubt.

D3 wasn't mentioned for 360 till last week.
But Blizzard and Sony never said anything about exclusivity - which was a dead giveaway.
And this will be the case for any game at E3 as well - if it isn't touted as an exclusive it isn't and exclusive - simple as that.

I guess yeah. But being as tho the X1 wasnt being mentioned by any dev at that point gives them an excuse somewhat.
