Let me repeat myself .. only posted his info here because a few people have been staying in this thread only and may not have seen that.

Besides that info is about this conference, completely on topic. If you think negativity or depressing news is derailing then I dont know what to say. Last post on this now.

E3 conference threads are not supposed to be limited to just the positive. The stuff you posted is either directly or indirectly linked to the conference, so the information is absolutely relevant to this thread.

Only reason people are getting ruffled is because there's some negative stuff in there too, but information spreading across different threads is quite ordinary. I thought people would be happy too, because there's some confirmation of a few games as well.

Tomorrow is gamer's Chrismahanukwanzakah!!! Can't wait to see what gets announced. I'm not getting my hopes up for tons of new IPs though.

I'm hoping Microsoft drops bombs tomorrow morning.

So we know they are showing 20 games at the Conference. 2 Xbox One games on Spike and Summer of Arcade.

We are going to see Dead Rising 3, TitanFall, Mirrors Edge 2, Prince of Persia reboot, Rare's Historic IP, World of Tanks, Forza 5 and Quantum Break.

Rumors are Insomniac Exclusive, League of Legends and Hawken.

I might not be as hyped as some of you (purely as a result of Microsoft's DRM policies), but I'm still very much interested in the conference and the games that will be revealed, so don't try and turn this in to some sort of exclusive club for the enthusiastic fans only.

CBoat may have some insider info but he definitely seems to have an ax to grind against MS. If you look at number 1 it's kind of stupid to even mention. Of course if MS is giving a publisher a chance to demo their game during their conference they would not want them to mention their competition. That's a no freaking brainier.

You must be connected to internet to setup offline mode, at least the first time, it is clear: "Please note that you must connect to the Steam Network and test each of the games you would like to use in Offline Mode at least once to set up your account and configure Offline Mode on your machine."

Yes, you need to be connected, however, you don't need to setup anything manually. The simple act of installing and them running your game once is enough to enable offline mode on steam.

I am excited as i'm going to take E3 for what it is, a video game conference. I just want to see the new gen of games from all consoles in action, then i'll worry about the hareware and policies, and the effects they have on me and my situations after.

Not sure yet, but GT has always been pretty good. Polygon/Verge are going to have one up too, for the tech shows they're usually reliable. And if there's a YouTube direct stream that should be reliable too.

No idea about IGN, haven't used one of there's in a while.

What the hell lol. No you can't have an exclusive club just for the ultra enthusiastic fans, and yes you can go any where you like on GAF without people unfairly gunning you. If you feel someone has done the latter, just contact a mod.

GAF is not a forum where exclusive clubs and threads exist. It is an inclusive forum where anyone can post any where. Including Xbox fans in Playstation orientated threads and vice versa. This us vs them mentality needs to be eradicated.

Making my predictions not counting the obvious stuff thats ether already announced our just real obvious like "new halo" and Rare/Lionhead showing something weird.

Capcom shows Deep Down again. Has exclusive X1 content.

Epic shows something that isnt Gears of War.

Fallout 4 uses "the power of the cloud" and is a (timed) exclusive.

Possible Sony Sleeper Agent Phil Harrison takes the stage, makes awkward joke about Sony.

MGSV has exclusive content and maybe some kinect stuff. Maybe MGS4 for the lulz and it comes with a exclusive demo for V. THIS IS THE YEAR GUYZ!!!

Ubi shows some New Tom Clancy stuff. At least one exclusive Ubi game + exclusive DLC for another multiplat game.

The Edios part of Square Enix shows something.

I haven't a clue what the token indie game appearance will be.

Something HUGE for the Japanese market. Ether MonHon, Dragon Quest, Yakuza or FF. (maybe this is saved for TGS)

Your regularly scheduled Sony Betraylatons are Insomniac (already heavily rumoured) and That Game Company making something for Kinect and MGSV if that counts.


All in all a very solid show.

I believe that to be the point, most have been staying in this thread because it's been leak free and people wanted to go into this conference surprised. While we could have followed the rumors, to hear it definitively stated, a day before no less, is a bit deflating.

GT App will have all the streams. Sony and Ubisoft will not air on TV because of the time it's schedule.

His impartiality can be independent from his veracity. This is the same problem with alx's point earlier. Saying the cloud was always designed as a DRM policy brings with it a negative connotation because that's what it is and how it is received by the community here at large. He outright stated he didn't have enough Sony info because how tight they were running things. Kagari mentioned armed guards protecting stuff on the show floor. Also, he did mention games. So, there's that.
