How do you know cod wont be there? There has not been an MS conference since the 360 unvieling that didn't have a COD showing and I'd bet big bucks that Titan will be there if its an exclusive like cboat says

They pushed COD out so they showed the footage yesterday.

TitanFall will be at EA's conference, I hope it's at Microsoft's too but it may not be.

So Spencer told Keighley there would be 20 games on stage today. Did anyone already take a crack at guessing which ones? Mine:

Titanfall
CoD: Ghosts
Dead Rising 3
Mirror's Edge 3
Prince of Persia
FIFA 14
World of Tanks
Metal Gear Solid 5

Forza 5
Quantum Break
Fantasia
Fable 4
Rare reboot/sequel
Black Tusk game
Kinect Sports 3
Ryse

I'm missing two on both the first and third party list, I could see L4D3 being one of the big surprises, or maybe gta5 either on XB1 or getting exclusive DLC.

Impressive showing they will have, no doubt!

Thats.... terrible...

On I am really surprised about call of duty. I'd be thrilled if it didn't waste a slot but that's microsofts favorite game and I'm very shocked they wouldn't have a playable demo running on their new system.

As for Titan, if it is an exclusive I can't imagine ms skipping it. They will hype that up as a big victory for their system.

I think they will show Mirrors Edge 2 first.

Has a new Prince of Persia been rumoured or is that just a wild guess?

I'm pretty impressed that Microsoft cared enough to put mirrors edge 2 in their show. From what I heard the game didn't sell we'll and was more of a cult hit right?

It's not Microsoft's favourite game, it's gamer's favourite game. Regardless, it's not in and I think it was pushed out in favour of exclusives. They are supposed to have 15 first party exclusives alone, right?

I hope you're right about Titan, I want to see it in action.

Or Sony could stay afloat based on their strong first party, other 3rd party, indie devs etc. It's not like EA and Activision are doing so great to take such colossal risks. The idea that of if Xbone has DRM, Sony MUST have it too is really getting tiring.

Sony isn't Nintendo.

Polish weekly magazine "Wprost" wrote today, that CD Projekt Red "Witcher 3"will be shown on Microsoft E3 conference . CD Projekt didn't confirm that information. yet.

Don't jump to stupid assumptions. I never even posted the information, and there were positives and negatives in the information posted. If Microsoft's antics shit up your cereal, maybe you should be directing your anger at them instead of the posters who relay the information?

Anyway, can we get this thread back on topic?

The only thing I remember is you being a huge Sony fanboy over at IGN Boards a few years ago, so your spreading isn't surprising at all.

Anyway, 9 hours! Going to be a long day for us Europeans who plan on watching all the conferences.

Aye. Would have been no problem if I had to work, time flies there and the conference starts around dinner time, so perfect. But I am at home with a throat infection of some sort, so it's going to be a long day ...

That's in the first year, not at launch. And they might save a few for Gamescom as well. I'd expect probably 5 or 6 MS-published exclusives at the presser. My guess:

Ryse: Son of Rome
Forza 5
Quantum Break
Kinect Sports 3
(or another high-quality Kinect game)
Rare (Killer Instinct/Battletoads?)
Epic (Elemental/Samaritan/Infiltrator?)

Plus Titanfall and Dead Rising 3 as traditional third-party exclusives, a couple popular PC games coming exclusively to One a la Minecraft (World of Tanks? League of Legends?), and who knows how many exclusive-DLC deals (Activision, Capcom, Ubi, Bungie, etc. etc.)

They're going to show a lot of games.

I knew the name sounded familiar!!!

20 titles, 90mins. I guess we won't be getting many stage demos, unless the majority of these games are just 2min reveal trailers.

I'd be happy with that, but I'm expecting a 10 min stage demo for Quantum Break. I want to see this bad boy in action.

20 games sounds really good until I start to think what they will show.

I really want most of them to be core gamer focused games published by Microsoft Studios (if they are not published by MS and even if they are exclusives I would hope they just show up at their own publishers events).

I imagine Titanfall and CoD: Ghosts will be there so that's 2.

I'm guessing they will have at least 2 family focused Kinect games (they have to really as they are making an all in one box so they want to get as many people as possible).

They would need to show support for the 360 so Fable: Aniversary for the 360 may be another.

They will likely get Ubisoft to show off a game (don't see it being an exclusive unless you include timed DLC) too as EA and Activision are already there. I would also expect at least 1 of the likes of Bethesda, Capcom, Square Enix or Konami to show off a next gen game (most likely not exclusive unless you include timed DLC).

Then there is the XBLA Summer of Arcade and I expect them to make a nod to that so a game like Ascend: Hand of Kul / Ascend: New Gods could be shown.

That leaves 12, which is actually a good number. Ryse, Forza 5 and Quantum Break are announced games so that will be 3 we know about and we could also add LocoCycle to that list which would bring it down to 8 new games. None of the games sound bad or anything I just want lots of surprises and for MS to pull some rabbits out of the hat after the nightmare of the last couple of weeks.

I really hope those 8 or more games are big budget AAA quality core games.

I don't think I will keep myself awake until Sony's conference. I will just watch MS, EA and Ubi... and I probably miss the first 30 minutes of MS' :(
Any idea if I can watch it from the beginning while it runs? Does any live player have a rewind option?

To be fair, Sony gave us the PS1/2 and Microsoft still had a pretty unproven record. Of course I was a Sony fan, they'd offered the best of gaming for two generations straight. I still have owned every console and game on everything. The 360 gave Microsoft a chance to prove themselves, and imo they absolutely did. Most of my multiplatform games etc are on the 360. A good consumer always follows the best value proposition, regardless of unsubstantiated personal preference, and that's what I've always done. With any product in my life, from mobiles, tvs, laptops.

That's partly why the Xbox One thus far is so painfully disappointing. Pre DRM announcements I had reserved £1000 to spend on both these consoles, and to buy both at launch with games. As I mentioned many times. Post DRM however, that is no longer the case (unless the console and games are cheaper due to the DRM), because Microsoft is doing the very thing consumers ought to deny, that is to remove control and limit value proposition. It's even worse given the hardware limitations, the mandatory Kinect etc, but worse still because there was so much potential to use the goodwill garnered this gen to offer us a true traditional gamers console, like the best consoles before it, and less of a corporate trojan horse.

COD, Lococycle and Fable Anniversary are already confirmed not to be there.

My guesstimate;
Forza 5
Quantum Break
Rare's historical franchise
Dead Rising 3
Mirror's Edge 2
Ryse
Crackdown
TitanFall maybe
The Witcher 3
Ubisoft
Square Enix
Fallout 4

no one seems to be mentionin crackdown which has already been spotted at the xbone reveal so add that to lists

Anyone know how I can go about testing my internet speed to make sure I can watch it live. My internet speed is pretty slow tonight, but is usually fast, so I'm concerned that it'll be slow in time for E3..

I promised myself I wouldn'g get hyped again after the May showing... the promise is broken. About the 20 games, my guesses:

1. forza 5
2. new fable
3. quantum leap
4. ryse
5. titanfall
6. fifa
7. nfl
8. madden
9. cod
10. crackdown 3
11. killer instinct 3
12. kinect fitness
13. kinect sports 3
14. new harmonix game (not fantasia)
15. pgresque racer
16. new halo
17. new epic game
18. nfs rivals
19. some japanese rpg
20. witcher 3

My most anticipated out of these? A new Crackdown without a doubt.
