Unfortunately, I won't be joining ya'll live tomorrow. It's been a fun run to E3, from other posters calling us "sheep" and being "like Stockholm Syndrome." It's been an honor being called a possible paid shill for Microsoft as well which is unfortunately not a unique accusation here!

In the end, I'm going to be ecstatic and my purchase will be locked up if the games are solid which I fully expect them to me. Microsoft is investing a metric crap-ton of money on this console and I think we'll all be happy. As a gamer of 20+ years, I can easily say the Xbox 360 was the best console I owned. I expect to be even happier with the Xbox One which fulfills my needs in a changing media landscape.

Don't jump to stupid assumptions. I never even posted the information, and there were positives and negatives in the information posted. If Microsoft's antics shit up your cereal, maybe you should be directing your anger at them instead of the posters who relay the information?

Anyway, can we get this thread back on topic?
 
You could've at least spoilered the cboat post for those who would like surprises, you can't deny it's downright dickish not to and you weren't thinking of those others when you posted.

It's going to be one of those nights all the excitement happening, it's difficult to sleep all the anticipation for all these conferences - really excited to see PS4 - really excited to see what MS is going to do..what kind of retro titles will pop up - I swear all this game stuff is a wet dream

This is so tiring. I disagree with your opinion and the need to have such information in this thread. There is already a DRM thread if you want to talk about that and dark cloud theories. This Kafkaesque tale of Microsoft is getting played out.

I'm already buying the Xbox One on day 1.

Getting rid of this "us vs. them" mentality isn't something that can get done unilaterally. When there are folks who probably would try to fight Steve Ballmer if they saw him in public (i.e. all those nutjobs trying to make fliers), its hard to have productive discourse. You have examples like above to feed the fire.
 
I just did a quick read through of the Cboat and Xbox banner threads. I don't recommend any Xbox fan who is hyped for the conference tomorrow to even take a peak in there. It's all hate hate and more hate.

Stay in here and spread the Xbox love. Choo choo!

That's good for you. Guess what though? Many people do care. And this is not an exclusive club for only the one's that don't care. Like I said before, GAF is inclusive. Anyone can post any where. That's what forums are all about, sharing information and posting opinions. Yours happens to differ from mine on subject of DRM. Different strokes and all that....

I feel what you're saying and I think you're 100 percent correct but i think some people maybe responding this way because outside of this thread there is a plethora of information that shows these very negative aspects of microsofts DRM stuff so I guess they consider this a bastion of hope to discuss things without being bombarded with instant negative reaction that is within every thread outside of this one.

Really hoping for black tusks IP tomorrow. How do you think they start the press conference? Xbox 360 for 15-20 mins? Then onto launch titles for X1 then a glimpse at future titles?
