Dragon's Crown - E3 2013 trailer

I hope this game has a JP voice option because those english ones sound horrible, especially the Amazon.

Can't freaking wait for this.

Edit: Just saw the Snake's second post. JP voices it is!

I am shocked they did not show more of this game at E3. It is simply amazing everything about it is awesome (except for the english voices). I know 2 co-workers that are buying vita's just for this game.

Looks a-mazing. I've been excited but I think this is the first really good trailer I've seen. This and The Last of Us are making not having a PS3 suck. I'll still get to play them, but not anytime.

I need to get some friends hyped so I have people to play with.

Any word on whether this is dual audio or not?

yes, selectable by character.

Anyways after all these years this is the game that got me to buy a PS3. Ordered it last night, can't wait to be my Predator Hunter meets Gilius Thunderhead dwarf.

(last of us helped too)

This looks awesome. Already have the vita version pre-ordered but I am considering getting the PS3 ver too.

Already have my pre-order in for both. This game is SOOO gorgeous. It's actually one of the reasons I got a Vita in the first place after seeing it on (I think) the Vita's first sizzle reel).

Vanillaware makes me nervous...there gameplay is awesome and fun for about 5 hours...then you realizes it never changes and youve got 50 more hours to go

I would be going to Morgan's Magic Item Shop very frequently. "Hi again, I'm here to pick up some....er...uh...um..."

Wow, the Amazon has some amazing mobility. She looks very fun to play. I really hope for a dual audio option for everything and not just your player character.

I expect some mileage from this.

Also glad to see there's some story focus.

A beat-em-up is a BEU. You can see all their is to see in a fight in the first stage, but yet you could still want to come back and play the game, all the time, 20 years later (like with Street of Rage II or Guardian Heroes).

I understand your feelings from an Odin Sphere perspective, truly. But this game's make is much better; Each stage is a memorable, short order affair, and the characters are all made to be unique gameplay experiences, and all available up front.

So you can jump into the game, get what you want, and drop out. And including friends give a whole new experience, the likes of which nothing compared to in OS, or even Muramasa.

By this point, I have no worries about this game. Seeing hand-on proves that it's going to be the AA+ BEU I've wanted to see all generation. It has the art and creativity I loved in 90s games, with many of the "for the sake of longevity" features of modern games, wrapped around it in the best or ways.

It's rare that I consider getting a game on Home and Portable consoles simultaneously, but this one REALLY makes me want to...

The game continues to look stunning. I cannot wait to get my hands on it. I have pre-ordered for Vita but I would love to play on PS3 as well. I might just pre-order that version as well.

I really hope they do some sort of bundle.

Also, does anybody know if you run by double tapping in a direction or if there is a run button? I know it sounds like an odd question, but I just never liked the unresponsiveness of double tapping on a analog controller.

I watched this trailer twice. Once just to watch, another to pause on certain screens and read description text. I love how the quests unlock artwork in addition to the usual rewards.

Does anyone know if the Voice Pack DLC (replaces narrator a character, free for first month) is dual audio or just English?

So that's the cursor Jeff was talking about. Maybe it's a a carry over from the Vita version that gives you an onscreen guide for what you're pressing....until the cursor appeared during gameplay and I have no reason why it exists.

Crisp visuals for sure. The archer character has value if you can keep your distance like they did in the video and offer support like that.

And I fully expect a thread with PSN ID's being posted right before this comes out.

Sorceress run animation is pretty great. "I'll be there soon! Say hi to my boobs, they'll get there before me!"

Other Noteworthy animations/poses:

Warrior Run: Throws his arms like he's gut punching you.
Amazon Run: These butt-shots are incredibly creative.*
Dwarf Sabertooth Mount: ARMS CROSSED LIKE A BOSS.

A great amount of personality in basically everything.

* Can I get Misato to call out "Next Stage" previews? "Service, service!" So OTT.

Looks great as expected. However that quest/area looks like it could use a few more enemies on-screen. There doesn't seem to be enough things for all 4 players to bash on.

Oh well I'm sure as the game goes on and becomes harder later this will be a non-issue.

From the area select screen, the Harpy area (with only 1-2 enemies per screen) is level 1 and the Wyvern area (with like 5+ enemies per screen) is level 3, so I'm guessing it ramps up in the higher levels.
