very pathetic lineup is what happened.
No one care about indie games, and No one care about late indie ports. (or inferior ports of indie minis)
Rayman is on bazillion other system that I have and most likely will be better on HDTV again like origin.
didn't Xseed said they want to release Burst in the west?
dat 10 years old port of below mediocre game, yeah that what Vita need.
A lot of people care about indie games, but they're generally not huge, AAA system sellers. That's Vita's main problem, it had a great launch and has had some big games here and in between but it hasn't gotten enough to push more people to buy one. It's slowed down to a slow trickle of games throughout the weeks.
Rayman looks best on Vita IMO, and it's the kind of game I like to play in spurts, which is perfect for a handheld. I'm sure other people will prefer to play it on a giant HDTV but I know a lot of people prefer it on Vita as well.
XSEED said they were "terrified at the thought of localizing Senran Kagura" because of it's content, but that they're still looking into it. They didn't specify which game.
FF X is beloved in a lot of FF fans hearts, so I'm sure lots of them will jump on the HD re-release. The problem is that it's on PS3 as well, and that X and X-2 are separate on Vita.
Idk man, I still have a lot of hope and love for the Vita, even after I was mad at their small bit about it during their presser.
I'm sure this is just pushing goalposts further but I have hopes that Gamescom and TGS will bring us more games, hopefully more BIG new games. From what I saw/heard even Nintendo didn't really bring much with their direct thing aside from the new for 3DS SSB info, so whatevs (I just got one, so I'm catching up on games for it).
Sony has a huge global presence so they usually save stuff for their other conferences. I just hope that they don't go all in for PS4 and completely ignore the Vita the closer we get to the PS4's launch.
It's funny though, my wife and I are addicted to Animal Crossing and I REALLY just wish there was something similar on Vita because she's been holding my 3DS hostage to play it. I prefer the Vita hardware anyway (way better hardware and OS), so having a similar game in that genre would be awesome. Farming Simulator should be hitting SCEA soon so hopefully that will scratch my sim itch.
