Out of curiosity how do those XBLA/GoD titles work when you sell the console to another person? Aren't they tied directly to your account? If I bought it, and logged in with my XBL account, which they all just appear as demos?

I think they're tied to the console? Like if you do an account recovery onto that 360 you'll be able to play all of the GoD/XBLA even though you're not the one who bought them. I think. I'm not 100% positive.

What is a "roaming" Xbox 360 console?


The term “roaming” refers to using content that you purchased on one Xbox 360 console (say, console A) on another Xbox 360 console (say, console B). For example, you might download a game from the Xbox LIVE Games Store to console A, and then attach the hard drive that contains that game to console B. When you attach the hard drive to console B and sign in to Xbox LIVE, you can play the game without any restrictions.

Note For such roaming to be allowed, you must be connected to Xbox LIVE by using the profile that purchased the content so the license to the content can be verified

Always ship with tracking number. They can file a claim with PayPal and say the item was never received. With tracking number, Paypal usually sides with the seller.

But in this case, with it not being an ebay transaction, what right does Paypal have to only side with the sender of the money, especially if the seller can prove a receipt for the shipment at least?

I believe you're referring to a license transfer between consoles. That will void the licenses on the old consoles, and yes, turn them all into trials. However, if I were to sell you my console and not do a license transfer (if I didn't have another 360, or I had an internet connection to rely on) we could do so in harmony. I would still have access to my games and you would have access to them too. It is somewhat of a risky proposition if the person intends to continue playing Xbox, as if their Xbox receives the RROD for instance and is sent for repair, MS will do a license transfer to the console you receive back.
