Tyler makes off the cuff remarks about other rappers and deletes them like a bitch all the time, then apologizes on some "LOL IM WEIRD SORRY". Get medicated you weirdo.

I hope someone trips him the next time he goes skateboarding.
I really want to post that Denzel picture again.

does he? I don't follow anybodies twitter. Too much work sorting through the vast majority of stupid, incoherent bullshit tweets to get to the handful of funny or interesting ones.

Yeah he'll call people names openly or make little underhanded remarks about other peoples music (using samples, going for a predictable feature, attacking singles) then he'll delete them when he realizes he fucked up. I only know cause like half my twitter friends follow the guy/GAF HOP reposts, but i've definitely seen him do it more than a few times, so its funny to see him be a little hypocrite in this case.

I had to unfollow Tyler, he's so fucking annoying. It's a shame cause I respect what he's done, would like to keep updated on his shit, but the guy really needs to grow up some, and I don't even like to use that phrase.

I tried to follow rappers twitter accounts but I stopped when it was nothing but them retweeting people giving them praise

i don't mind that so much as the onslaught of promotion.
i unfollowed all of MMG because at one point my timeline was like 60 straight tweets of them promoting each others albums.

i rather just follow producers.

I tried to follow Mike WiLL but his shit is super autofellatious too. He'll retweet anything even resembling praise. It shows on his mixtapes, those sections where he has rappers talk about how full of potential/talent he is is so embarassing lol.

He's a child. Like he willingly chooses to be childish. It's cool to be playful and youthful. It's obnoxious to be Tyler.

MMG is the worst. I also had to unfollow hit boy, but producers are mostly cool.

artists really are in love w/ his sound though. he's about to have his pop run.
i mean him and Future brought Ciara back ffs.

I mean he is that dude, thats what im saying. this motherfucker doesnt have to convince me. I can put that together myself

Heaven's Afternoon and Vanity are the only tracks I even bothered to listen to all the way through on this Wale album. There are a few other tracks I might bother with but this is pretty bad overall. The curse of the gifted is atrocious though. And Wale sounds...different. I was never a big fan but I remember him managing a few good verses here and there. He's just doing that annoying kanye whine this whole album.

I like Yeezus, but I enjoyed listening to the samples themselves compared to the Frankenstein of a song he would turn them into.

It's something different than what I normally listen to, and it's not offensive to my ears. I don't see any avenue for evolution from this sound. It's not progress, it's a lateral move into a subgenre which already exists in purer forms. If it reaches new ears, fine, but there is nothing unique done with it here.

I do agree that it's an album that probably only Kanye can pull off in the mainstream, but that doesn't make it good. The themes are loose and the lyrics amateur. These are not the words of a man super confident in himself - or saying anything in particular. They're those of a man who is acutely aware of how people view him.

Further, Kanye reaches back into his past in order to use motifs present therein as crutches for this new sound (808s autotune laced in tracks like Blood on the Leaves; lighthearted 70s samples in Bound 2). The end product is not a clever reimagining of those styles in a new light; rather a distorted reflection.

To Ye's credit, Yeezus gets stronger as it goes on. If you can survive the abruptness of the first two tracks, you will come out the other side in a better spot. And so the album is cohesive in a sense: you can drop into any song in a Yeezus loop and find it all familiar, aside from Bound 2. It's consistent noise of the take it or leave it variety.

Listening to Yeezus again to make sure I'm not just letting my bias ruin the experience for me. Send it Up is dope, actually really enjoying that track...until about 2:20..wtf....
Otherwise yeah, opinion hasnt changed. Too much auto tune, blood on the leaves would have been amazing without it. Too much dorm room experimental beat making bullshit.

What DAW are you using?
I'm liking it. I think it's a little weak on the lows, exasperated by such a shrilly melody--also making the repetition especially noticeable, but I do see you getting arrangement down quick here. Keep it coming!

Nah, the lows are fine and so is the mixing. Ace, just layer your sounds and your good. To get an idea. Just try to mimic someone you like(Like their drum pattern and breaks for example)and from there, boom.

Tyler is a fuckboy. Runs his mouth about whatever and like Esch says, pulls the I'm weird card. Or just acts like his clowning around all the time. I'm not gonna listen to a motherfucker who legitimately has the maturity of a 4th grader, sorry. Same reason I won't follow Travis.

The only people I follow on twitter are Ye, CuDi, Jay and a bunch of Ye's cronies. And even CuDi has become progressively annoying. But the biggest reason I follow those people are because they don't spam their twitter feeds all day long, especially with promo (looking at you Ross). I should probably expand that list though.

It may not be what you want, but he's giving you what you need

he does it in a really annoying way too. He'll be like "hah. That was stupid. boners. golf wang". I really think he has aspbergers or some shit because he does that all the time. He reminds me of kids in high school who would pop shit off all the time but when it got to the point where you throw hands he would be like "WERE ALL FRIENDS HERE RELAX". Breezy's crew would have beat the brakes off of these punks.

So close, wasn't expecting that. Great for Cole to do all that dolo.
Fuck all the blogs not reporting twitter shit.

And the lyrics for Hov's Heaven suck. So far he is 0/2, some 15yr old knowledge fountain type shit isn't smart.

Way better than I expected from Cole. I really have no ability to read if an artist will be successful these days.

#newrules release lyrics before the song, oh wait Nas did it last year with The Don and y'all laughed. Ol' Camel been biting Nas since 91

this is honestly one of the worst ideas Hov has ever had, releasing the lyrics like this.
it forces you to focus solely on that shit, and reflect on how bad that shit is.
i don't recall Nas doing it so i can't call anything on that.
but this shit got me like

i'm sure it'll sound alright over the beat but Hov's looking exposed right now.

Papoose on The Breakfast Club. Lol he's tryna convince Envy that their market radio research (presumably the same stuff Ebro described how they can track how many people change the station when a certain song comes out) isn't as good as Papoose checking out some unnamed DJ in the South's plays for the week. Papoose is begging for radio play in every recent interview I've seen with him, but he has to be doing something right to still have his name in people's mouths and getting interviews.

I just hate this guy's whole demeanor where he knows what real hip hop is and what it takes to be a great artist.. but he consistently never makes it there.

He also said he turned down Ye beats
like a decade ago rofl

Fabolous-Young OG

damn at him just copping that Yeezus sample like it aint shit. no shame.

smh
LOL this is especially shameless considering Ye couldn't clear the sample and had to get a choir to rerecord the sample just to clear it. And then Fab just jacks that shit SMH.

a lot of people have been doing that recently. I think Prodigy and maybe A$AP? did that as well before release, or they leaked or something. I have no idea why, people never reflect positively on that shit.

Y'ALL RELIGION CREATES DIVISION

LIKE MY MAYBACH PARTITION

Rappers have been turning in lyrics early for Rap Geniuses, but Jay's release just seems as a means of building hype and showing us how hard he works. The man has an inferiority complex, it's a fact. He wants us to marvel at those lyrics and guess what words are blacked out.

I wish I was rich just so I could see him naked in a country club bath room and laugh.
