I understand she is annoyed but she should cut the attitude out of respect for Trayvon's parents. Her behaviour could impact the jury's impression of her

lol this lawyer is a douche
"Can you tell me how wet grass sounds"
".................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................wet?"

Can you just imagine how differently this would be going if he happened to have been talking to a more well articulate person on the phone at the time all of this happened?

It sure wouldn't have been as entertaining though, that's for sure.

If she didn't get that stank face after every question this shit would have been finished a while ago. They are trying to rile her ass up.

How in the world is the judge allowing this stupid line of questioning..

At this point i would expect a tv judge to be like "Is this going somewhere? Get to the point"
Or a tv lawyer to be like "Umm judge, he's leading the witness"

:O

OMG SHE GONNA introduce her fist to his face
"Oh you were at home fixing your hair"

What could sound similar to wet grass? I myself didn't understand that.

It's not hard to understand. While I cannot myself See Threepio the sound of a mic landing in grass, I can certainly hear it. Do this thought experiment - a camera clattering onto a sidewalk and recording it, or the same camera falling on grass and recording it.

You can hear the difference and understand the sound. Remember she has the context of the other audio on the call. She has a soundscape to contextualize from, quite apart from the fact that you could probably understand the sound in isolation.

Defense just got a lesson in Black Hair 101.

Are you really allowed to repeat a question over and over and over like this? Is he altering it just enough to keep it from being badgering?

So following someone represents a threat to you? Seeing where a suspicious person goes is dangerous?

If this happened to your family and you knew the outcome could have been different because a person followed suspicious people, you would be fine?

You are not a superhero, you are not even a fucken cop. If you see something suspicious, call 911 and let the people who are trained to investigate.

So basically they wont her to say she doesn't know what was happening, Trayvon had a low voice so he couldn't be the one screaming for help, and want to confuse the hell out of her. She seems to be sticking to what she has been saying, no matter how many times he ask the same damn questions.

Defense trying to use her broken english as a weapon. I think it backfired. If only she was a little more fucking smarter, her testimony could have wrapped this whole thing up. Clearly one of them is lying and i doubt it's her.

How is she not lying? She has been caught in 3 different lie's now they are trying to flesh out if she lied more she just admitted she changed the story in the deposition in which the mother was present. That alone is a big no no, her whole testimony is "maybe, coulda, I don't know"

"i was been paying attention"

yikes :S

They are asking her Super specific questions that people more articulate than her would have difficulty explaining. My answers would be maybe, coulda, i dont know as well, He's also asking for an EXACT timing of how things played out, for the sole purpose of using it against her later.

how long did it take between you hearing a hit and the headset hitting the wet grass
wtf? seriously?

It also happened a LONG time ago. his questioning is pretty ridiculous, and her base story hasn't really changed.

Which is why they have been cross examining her for 7+ hours.
