Then what is your point? I also believe that their is a deep rooted culture of institutionalized racism in the US courts that works against black people. It involves the use of poor evidence to convict people of crimes that they are probably not guilty of, and give much more harsh sentences for crimes they are guilty of. What I see happening in this thread is "eye for an eye" justice, people want to see Zimmerman prosecuted despite there being very poor evidence to suggest he was guilty. People are playing a game of guilty until proven innocent, which is an idea that works against so many black people today. Instead of perpetuating the cycle, shouldn't people be working to improve the law so that it isn't so inherently unfair against black people? It seems people want to see everyone get fucked over, as long as everyone is equally fucked over.

Not having him armed is a law I can get behind. However, I don't agree with punishing people for reporting suspicious behaviour. That's counterproductive. We should be encouraging that.
