Steam Summer Sale 2013 Thread #2 - Many questions answered in the OP's FAQ

wat. How?
I know it's stupid but...it works.

I'm clearing Hotline Miami which I bought in the last sale. I don't feel so horrible now, but the stench of backlog doesn't quit. ):

EDIT: Well to be fair I'm a bit tight on money. A paycheck didn't come through (which I'm somewhat glad at) so I'm stuck on limited funds. God knows I'd spend some crazy ass money if it was the other way around.

Not bad. Trying to set a goal of finishing one game per month myself. Sometimes succeeding, most often not.

So, does anyone categorize their games and if so, how?

By genre? publication decade?

Right now, I've got stuff I got during the SS, and everything else.

Some by Genre, Some by Indie Bundle (I have a ton of indie stuff), some by Company, and some by game series (e.g. all my Warhammer or Ys stuff)

Want to play - games I want to play right now
Maybe one day - games I'll get to at some stage
Played - games I've played and were good
No good - games I played that were shit
Keep arounds - Valve games and the like that have cards and such
Junk - Mac versions or whatever

Helps sort out the backlog.

That System Shock 2 background is pure sex

DayZ Standalone doesn't have a specific release date. Nothing has changed there.

It should be out in the next few weeks though.

Holy sheeit. I want that in poster form

2 categories - Completed & Not completed. One list is constantly expanding, while the other barely changes.

Finally bought some stuff from the sale:
Total War Shogun 2 DLCs
Fallout New Vegas Ultimate
Strike Suit Infinity (not a daily but it was already $1.74 so I don't mind)

Now just going to wait for Skyrim, as a Daily Deal for it has already been foretold in the
Summer Getaway
cards.

I'm having trouble getting System Shock 2 working. It installs fine and starts up but all that I'm getting is a black screen. I can hear the intro and what not but I can't see anything.

Running Windows 7, GTX 680.

Good idea. Now I know what I'll spend my night at. :P

Gunpoint is the type of thing that I don't think would appeal to a lot of Steam Users. It's like one of the Y's going up against COD or another big FPS.

All that FNV talks today almost makes me want to re-install the game but it looks like the game does not support Cloud saves and I'm not sure if I still have my old saves...hmmm yeah, I don't want to start over.

I was thinking something along those lines actually :D

Already made a Mac folder to hide stuff I can't/don't wanna play.

Wanted a folder just for stuff I never wanna play again, much less be reminded they're in my inventory. :D

Thanks everybody for the input.
