Felt very episodic - everything seemed wrapped up from last week (well the murders for sure).

Felt this episode wasn't very strong in terms of action or anything happening really. Quality still, but not the highest peak here.

The next episode preview looks fantastic.

My first time watching Luther. Saw the rerun of the first episode the other night. Really enjoying it. Great acting and lots of tense moments.

Great episode!

No Alice yet, I don't think she will be in next week either, my prediction is
Alice returns in episode 4, it will be Alice + Luther VS The two cops that are digging dirt on him

shit is gonna be explosive

The conversation about the "very muscular vaginas" by the old man was somehow as creepy as the killer lurking around the house.
It was a good episode but I'm still waiting for Alice to return. Her presence greatly improves the already amazing Luther.

Tonight episode alright, I feel it was a little like last season though where it would have been better if the focus of the entire season was on one killer. Even then I thought season 2 dealt with spring-heeled Jack better, here the climax was the dude jumping out of a window after you found out he was a prostitutes kid which was lacklustre given how great the first episode was. On the plus side Jodie lived who I instantly feel in love with and couldn't cope with her dying.

Wow, surprisingly happy ending for this show. Most episodes end on such a somber note, I think this was one of the few times where things actually went well for almost everyone. I suppose we're going to get some highs before we get some lows...

About Ripley...
I'm glad he wasn't actually going to turn on Luther. The entire thing seemed way out of character, even if he did have some questions about Luther's methods. I'm glad the writers didn't betray the character simply to cause conflict. Well done. That being said, I think Luther knew exactly what he was doing when he called the husband.

Whoever picks out the music for the previews needs a raise. They kill it every week, without fail.

I liked this one more than the last episode, but I'm just glad the previews make it seem like they're done with the serial killers and moving on to some extortionists? Give me more seedy London criminal underworld, less generic serial killer of the week—imo, it's a better fit for the show anyways.

also the credit sequences are so fucking good. great music choice, as always.

My mind was just blown learning the actor who plays Ripley was a world champion Thai boxer when he was young.

Yup. He was also in TDKR

I was really annoyed that the show turned into Scream again, but fortunately it was only for a few moments. It really detracts from the rest of the show.

Just watched Epidsode one, I'm hooked. LOVE ME SOME ELBA!!

I'm probably gonna fuck up my sleeping schedule again.

This and Dexter will do fine in holding me till Breaking Bad next month. Thank you GAF.

Alex Morgan is fucking hot. The actress was the chick in The Lone Ranger, and I thought she was like so-so in that, didn't really catch my attention. But here, gawddamn. I'm in love. It's usually the crazy women that get me.

Man, you're in for a treat concerning Alice.
