No claim that it's WiiU footage though
Why would anyone think it is? Even the article says, "This is undoubtedly PC footage".

Can I offscreen to the gamepad and then play with a pro controller? D:

Why? Really? A link to new footage in a WiiU games thread?
Just doing my bit to keep realistic expectations to the forefront for when they deliver Vroom![]()
But he linked to an article, which explains that it's PC footage. If he had linked directly to the video then I may have agreed with you.
I might actually bite onto a WIi U this July or August.
New Super Mario Bros. is a given but after an initial disappointment of Super Mario 3D World it's actually VERY appealing to me, and I fell in love with 3D Land as soon as I saw a kid play it. Add to that, that Wind Waker HD looks beautiful and I'm looking into giving it another chance, while Super Smash Bros 4 is THE game I'm looking forward to.
I'm no longer sure about The Wonderful 101 but Pikmin 3 should hold be over for weeks. In fact it's enough alongside Wind Waker HD and 3D World for this year. Then next year will bring Mario Kart 8, Super Smash Bros 4 and Bayonetta 2 so far.
Yup, I think I'll go Sony/Nintendo next-generation.
Can Wii U play both Gamecube and Wii games? Cause I didn't get around games like Luigi's Mansion, F-Zero, Skyward Sword, Galaxy 2 etc.
Nah off-TV Play doesn't speak to me, especially seeing I'm probably moving into a 1-room apartment within a year. But great idea from Nintendo though.
Well it would be a ONE-room apartment in which a TV would be there. I wouldn't have a need to play when I go to the toilet or kitchen.
You say this now, but hey, I often play off-tv while sitting at my desk, or even lying on my couch right in front of my TV.
This may be a dumb question, but do I need the sensor bar from my wii in order to play in wii mode on the wii u? Or is that built into the system somehow?

Guys, I really want to buy Starfox 64 since I can use my Club points. Problem is then it'll end up like F-Zero which I couldn't play without the Wii Classic controller.
Do I need to buy a Wii Classic pro or whatever the fuck they're called, or can I just buy the Wii U fancy standard controller and play N64 games from the Wii VC?
Sorry the Wii U Pro Controller doesn't work with any Wii software. Classic controllers are pretty cheap (just saw it on Amazon for $15) and you can use them for quite a few Wii U games, Monster Hunter 3U, Tekken Tag 2, Warriors Orochi 3, Black Ops 2, Injustice and Sonic Racing. Great for multiplayer.
So a friend of mine just called me saying he bid on some broken/dead WiiUs and have 3 working gamepad off it for sale, he is asking around 70 for each, I think I'll buy all 3. Question is, do those thing work just like any controller, meaning I'd just have to sync them to my console and they should work, correct?.
You "might" be able to sync more than one gamepad at once, but you certainly can't use more than one at any given time. If you're buying them for multiplayer, stop, because you're making a big mistake. If you want them to scatter around your house, then maybe you could get away with it.

This is actually how I play most games and it is great, as I don't want to wear the pad much, plus the pro controller is better, although the gamepad is great too, don't get me wrong. I have tried this with:
Some new Project CARS footage.

I just want them in case mine stop working (kids like to drop stuff!) and/or if Nintendo finally start supporting multiple gamepads for multi :O
Thanks for the input.
Edit: Btw I was wondering, my Nintendoland game came w'o a CN slip, is that normal?, does the Deluxe set version just not give coins?.
After registering the system, I think you should get a NintendoLand survey like a week later where you get coins for answering.
Interesting that Disney Infinity has a Miiverse Community open already, and the game releases in August. There's even an Announcement Community where they have a youtube video. Great way to build hype and keep people informed.
Launch seems to be more or less a month away...is this the earliest a Publisher is allowed to open a Community perhaps?

But do you think the WiiU version will be a lot worst than this?
That is weird. Is there a demo or something out?
Just bought my first Wii U game in Assassin's Creed 3 ($15) even though I don't have the console yet. Is it worth it on this console?

Oh, forgot about Sonic Lost World, The Legend of Zelda and Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate.

Alright, I'll keep it then. Hopefully I'll get the Wii U in August.
I also saw Your Shape: Fitness Evolved 2013 for $15.

arner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and TT Games have revealed The LEGO Movie Videogame, a brand new title set to launch on the Wii U and 3DS in 2014 alongside the release of the upcoming film, The LEGO Movie.
You take control of the game's protagonist, Emmet, who is a less than average, normal guy going about his every day business before he is mistakenly identified as the most extraordinary person - in his case, LEGO figure - and the ultimate key to saving the world. Join Emmet on his quest to stop all evil and bring back harmony to the land.
Tom Stone, Managing Director at TT Games Publishing said:
Were thrilled to be able to give kids the joy of reliving Emmets adventures in becoming virtual Master Builders with The LEGO® Movie Videogame. Players will be taking on the ultimate mission to save the LEGO world and use their virtual building prowess to build unimaginable sets and creations.
Over ninety characters that feature in the movie will be included in the game, along with fifteen levels. A specific release date wasn't mentioned, but more information will follow closer to the game's launch.
I want to buy a second WiiU ( I'm about to adjust my attic to play my consoles and my kids don't want me to take the WiiU upstairs ). Will I be able to sign in with my new WiiU with my excisting account so that I will be able to play the games that I've bought before ( just like PS3 and 360 )?
