US/CAN Club Nintendo Thread: New and improved. Read the OP.

I wonder when Club Nintendo might start giving Wii U VC games as an option as opposed to Wii games? I understand the selection on the Wii U VC is still fairly small in comparison to the Wii's, but I guess I just don't really care to buy it on the Wii at this point.
 
Probably when the Wii Shop itself goes down. At least by giving Wii codes, they can get you to upgrade the games for a buck/buck fifty.
 
Hm, can't seem to register an additional SMT4 code on my account after a friend gave me his. I imagine we can't register them until after the $30 offer is over?

Also disappointed that they've yet to restock on their Hanafuda cards, but that tote bag is pretty tempting...
 
Sorry to bump my question from above, but should I hold off until August 4th to see if they update CN with any new physical items (looking to get a 3DS XL case), or are they only going to update the software?

To be honest, they rarely do any updates on their physical reward. This tote bag has been their new item update for like 4 months? Or maybe even half a year. They will only have a digital game update on Sunday.

There's really no way of knowing when they'll add new physical rewards, or what they'll be.
 
I guess the time has come where I need to just commit to the posters. Gonna hang the Luigi one up and sell the other two for a couple bucks

So much is sold out. Someone earlier in the thread said if nintendo actually put out some decent stuff then people would be more inclined to spend their coins instead of hording them until something good comes out. And so much has been out of stock for months ive got 1500 coins from like 3 years of saving. I was gonna just get rid of my coins and get the game and watch handheld but that sold out too. Ugh just cant win.
 
That Pikmin tote bag is pretty tempting... I'm gonna be mad though if I get it and the golden nunchuk returns from the grave.
 
So I finally redeemed my Platinum reward for the Majora's Mask soundtrack. In the long run I'll probably appreciate it more than posters.

Maybe it'll push me into finally playing the game instead of waiting for a 3DS version. Or not... ;)
 
Foooooooook! I don't really want that tote bag nor do I have any use for it but I have over 1,500 coins and what if we don't get anything else for another six months?

I am going to wait and pray that we get a Pikmin plush or key chain or something, anything else. :/

I though you couldn't register duplicates unless you have a secondary account. I could be wrong, I've never registered two of the same game. If that is the case and you're willing to give it away I would be happy to take it!

Well, in your case, get the CD. I have a lot of empty space on my walls and I listen to music primarily on my computer, without wanting to mess with CDs. To each his/her own :)

That disc does look pretty sweet, though.

I guess i'm going to place an order on the blue reversible pouch also because i know if i don't get it, It's going to be sold out and NoA will take years if ever to restock it

And out of nowhere the gold wiimote will be a prize and i won't have enough money/coins for it. And once i do, it would be sold out. I love this program

You totally miss the point. It's not an issue of physical vs digital. Your post basically said, "Pshh, you can just download it for free on the internet." Which is piracy (unless there actually is a legitimate place like iTunes and that's what you're talking about but I doubt it)
 
Not sure if I want to get the Pikmin tote bag or not. It's cute but at the same time, the new digital game rewards are announced tomorrow? Will the tote bag sell out anytime soon?

I just hope the new games they put up will be good. They had Majora's Mask up a while back which I got so I hope they put up Ocarina of Time one day since I haven't played that in a while and don't want to really get the 3DS game for it.
 
Reminder that if you want to get one of the games, you have a few hours left until they're switched out for new ones.

& since I know someone will ask, they tend to be switched out around Noon or 1 PM EST.
 
I redeemed a bunch of codes I had stored up this weekend.

Havent been to Club Nintendo store for awhile and saw that everything was gone.

WTF happened? are they doing away with Club Nintendo?

Now I have over 1000 points, and nothing to spend them on...

don't worry, it's backordered for everyone; they don't actually have them ready to go yet. it says on the item page that it will take 3-4 weeks to ship.

That tends to be the earliest, but it usually ends up being an hour or so after that. It's random with Nintendo.
 
Spent my last 400 CN Points on the Pikmin Tote Bag.

It's not like there's much else I could have spent it on and the only really thing that I wanted was the 3DS Card Case they had a long time ago.

Better be worth it!
 
I just want a set of hanafuda that replaces the one I lost years ago.

They need to ramp up production.
EDIT: Alternatively: Kid Icarus cards. 40 coins a pack. Would go like hotcakes.

I REALLY wish they did that when Kid Icarus came out. Granted, we got that free starter pack for registering or whatever, but they probably would've sold a TON when the game was released, considering people were starting to buy it. At this point, not sure how many people would still care.

MAYBE Sudoku for me since that was the thing I mainly did with Brain Age, but I don't know...
