Not a chance for me. My backlog is already crying, so let it cry a little more. I have had this pre-ordered for months.

Don't know if spawn with all the weapons, but in GTAIV, you could run around and collect every weapon.

The male characters come in a variety of weights / sizes, right? If so, I hope that's true for the female characters, too.
 
So it'll be it's own title with it's own achievements and stuff? Color me interested, but what happens when the next GTA comes out? Cut the multiplayer and continue to support GTA Online?

You could play as females in GTA IV's online.

I would be in the same boat, but I never play a game twice or buy a game twice, so I may as well wait for the superior nextgen version as I am not in a rush. Got plenty of games to keep me busy.

Yeah, I'm thinking of doing the same thing. I love GTA, but it's not a "must have day one" type of thing for me. I'll wait a little and see if a next gen version emerges.

That's what I'm thinking too. Will wait for a next gen version of the game before jumping into it. Too much worth playing to lose a bunch of time on what will eventually be an inferior version. (Though I would imagine that they would transfer your player over onto the next gen version.)

Rockstar WINS .... creates the ultimate online games where you can do online crimes and chaos in a expanding world and create your own crimes etc.... secretly will track it all and give it to the governments to put us all in a special folder. I think this is how we all get caught. Kudos to you Rockstar.... you set the trap and I didn't even see it coming!!! Or did I? But I can't resist you with all your lovely activities for me to do. <3

It's not meant to be competitive, there are other games for that.

Plus, the main draw here is Free Roam where you get to explore the world with others. Not see who the better player is.

I'd imagine you could still act like a hitman yourself if another player asked you to go kill someone though, so I guess it isn't that big of a letdown.

Thanks for the well written preview by the way, has gotten me even more excited for the game than I thought I could be!
 
I really wonder if you can just mess up people doing missions. Or will you not be able to harass people doing actual missions.

i feel that it's better that way .

-Because they can use that money to maintain GTAO servers

-Because there is this feelign that the solo game will be complete on his own ( and not cut to be made dlc )

Hot damn everything I've seen from GTA5 looks amazing.

Between this and Saints Row 4, fans of open-world games should be in heaven.

Didn't CVG say that you can also hire players?
 
I think it's sensible to delay the MP launch personally.

Given how much effort will have gone into the SP campaign, the last thing R* will want is a COD/Halo like launch where everyone jumps straight into MP and stays there.

I was hoping for more characters to be introduced for dlc. It's a big city, lots of stories they could tell.
 
This looked ridiculously good. Bloody hell Rockstar.

On a side note, no way this was a current gen version. PC or next gen for sure. Textures, IQ, shadow quality etc all better than the previous PS3 trailer.
